Then he was on his back, his hands and arms slack and spread out, no longer clenched behind him. Dean kissed Tyler through the aftershocks, mumbling compliments and praise and pressing their bodies together in an urgent, consuming way that melted Tyler’s last functioning brain cells.
ChapterFourteen
Dean wasn’tsure if he’d taken Leo’s suggestion or if he’d done the opposite. Tyler hadn’t moved from his arms on the kitchen floor, so that was an improvement from the last time.
They were fully clothed; though Dean’s T-shirt was come-splattered. He’d put his own cock away and pulled Tyler’s sweats back up while he had still been out of it. Dean was working very hard not to kiss him.
“I’ve never had a threesome,” Tyler said out of nowhere. His body was relaxed and slack against Dean, as if he wasn’t in any hurry to move.
Thank God.
“Okay.” Dean’s brain spun through all the reasons Tyler might be bringing that up.
“I’m not a prude. I merely…” Tyler shook his head. “I have trouble getting into sex sometimes. And it seems exhausting to add another variable to the equation.”
Oh boy. Dean had a million follow-up questions to that little infodump. He lightly rubbed his cheek against the top of Tyler’s head.
“It can be exhausting,” Dean said honestly. He was sort of picky about group sex for that reason. “Lots of individual preferences, boundaries, and hang-ups to keep track of. That’s not even accounting for emotions involved.”
“But you do it.”
“With the right people, yes.”
“Like Rosie and Leo.”
Dean felt the doors and shutters he used to protect himself slamming shut. He’d had this conversation with Viggo a few times, and it always resulted in jealousy and distrust.
“I’ve been friends with Leo a long time.”
“Friends with benefits,” Tyler clarified.
“Yes. Occasionally. Maybe not as often as you’d think. We understand each other’s boundaries.”
“That sounds nice.”
Dean’s shoulders were tensed, and he forcibly relaxed them. “Yeah?”
“You’re lucky enough to have friends who understand you, and that understanding comes with affection. That’s nice.”
“It is. It’s fun too. That’s mostly why we do it. Because it’s fun.”
“Fun?” Tyler said. It was like he’d never heard the word in reference to sex before.
“Yeah, fun. You said you have trouble getting into sex sometimes?” Dean asked carefully.
Tyler turned his head and buried his face against Dean’s neck. Dean’s heart took off at a full sprint, and he tightened his arms, holding Tyler closer.
“Veto,” Tyler whispered.
“Okay,” Dean said immediately. If Tyler didn’t want to talk about that, they would skip it, but the topic made Dean uneasy.
“How dotheydo it? Have sex with other people? Rosie and Leo. I’ve never considered having an arrangement like that, but it’s …”
“What?”
Tyler seemed to weigh his words before sighing. “Intriguing, I guess? But how would I know if it’s for me? How do you take that step to see if it’s what you want? And what if it’s not? How do you explain that you changed your mind? ‘Oh, I’m sorry. I said we could blow other people, but then I got jealous?’”
“That’s exactly how you explain. Rosie and Leo have incredible communication. They check in with each other a lot. You should talk to Rosie about it.”
