“Is that how the order of events went? Think you left some stuff out, Seth.”
His hand slid up and down her thigh. Miguel thought he would be pissed off to see it, but all he felt was… nothing. It didn’t faze him at all. Yet to make sure he was alive inside, he put a hand on Judith’s shoulder and offered her a sip of his wine.
“Does it matter? When a man loves you, he’ll do whatever it takes to keep you.”
“Huh?”
“He’s right.” Miguel was close enough to smell Seth’s aftershave.Not a bad choice… not my taste, but it suits him, I guess.Did it have to overpower Judith’s sweet smell, though? “You make me want to do things I never thought about doing before,mi amour.You may be my love, but you come with extras, don’t you? I’d say get rid of the chaff here, but if you think he’sthatcute…”
“On that note, you should ditch the meathead. I know he’s got that sexy accent, but…”
Judith drank her whole glass of wine before slamming it on the table. “Oh my God. You two are going to kill me.” She didn’t say it, but her damning demeanor said she realized what was going on now. With one glance at Seth, Miguel took his cue. He tipped Judith’s head back and kissed her, hand dipping down her blouse while Seth kissed her fingers.
