His arm cinched around her waist, his arousal hard against the curve of her backside as he bent to her ear.

“Hold still.”

With his free hand, he found the zipper of her lace top and drew it down in a slow, torturous path. Her skirt followed with the same deliberate ease, pooling around her feet. What remained was a delicate white lace set that left little to the imagination.

Levi’s lips trailed kisses down her spine. His hands came up to cup the full weight of her breasts, thumbs teasing her nipples through the fabric, drawing breathy gasps from her as her body arched into his touch. He made quick work of releasing them from their fabric prison.

She was trembling now, the sensations unraveling her. When his fingers dipped beneath the waistband of her panties and found her slick and ready, Levi nearly lost his mind.

“God, you’re perfect,” he murmured against her skin, one hand working between her thighs, coaxing soft moans from her lips as she moved with him, riding the rhythm he set with practiced precision.

And then, just as suddenly, she turned. Her hands went to his waistband and undid him with a deftness that made his pulse jump. She pushed his pants and briefs down in one tug, and he hissed at the release. Her eyes flicked to him, dark with purpose.

Without a word, she backed him toward the bed and gave him a gentle shove. Levi fell onto the mattress, watching as she stalked toward him with predatory grace, each movement lighting him up from the inside out.

She stepped out of the remaining scrap of lace and straddled him slowly, teasingly, her bare skin brushing his. Her breasts hovered at eye level, begging for attention. He gave it willingly, his mouth finding one, then the other, lavishing each with hot, open-mouthed kisses and the scrape of his teeth.

Aurelia writhed in his lap, her hands tangled in his hair, her body pulsing with need. She leaned down, lips at his ear, her voice a silken promise, “I want to take my husband for a ride.”

He came completely unraveled.

With a growl, Levi gripped her hips and, in one fluid motion, he thrust up as she sank onto him, the connection hitting them like lightning.

Aurelia cried out, overwhelmed by the sudden, perfect fullness of him. She stilled, breathing through the stretch, her hands braced on his chest.

Levi was trembling beneath her, eyes shut, jaw tight. “Tell me if it’s too much,” he rasped, fighting for control.

But she didn’t stop. Her hips began to move, tentative at first, then demanding. Fast. Deep. Unrelenting. She rode him like she owned him, and Levi matched her pace, meeting every thrust with one of his own, their bodies locked in rhythm.

Her cries, her moans, her whispered curses…all of it filled the room like music.

When she shattered above him, Levi held on through the storm of her climax, his name breaking from her lips like a prayer. Only then did he let himself go, buried deep inside his wife, taking her in every way a man could.

They collapsed together in a tangle of limbs and sheets, hearts pounding and breaths uneven.

Wrapped in each other.

Silence eventually blanketed them, soft and sacred, until sleep took them under.

CHAPTER 30

Levi

Levi stirred as the morning sunlight filtered through sheer curtains, streaking gold across the bed and his bare skin. He blinked against the brightness, a low groan rumbling in his throat as he rolled over.

This wasn’t his bed.

The realization hit fast, pulling him fully awake.

He sat up in a rush, eyes scanning the unfamiliar surroundings until they landed on the still, glassy waters of the lagoon beyond the window.

Aurelia’s room…in her home.

His wife’s home.

The word still sat oddly on his tongue, even inside his thoughts, and was equal parts thrilling and disorienting.

Flashes of last night rolled into his mind. Her mouth on his, her body wrapped around him, the way she had whispered that she wanted him. Every memory pulled tight across his chest like a cord wound with heat and vulnerability.
