It rained every day for the rest of the week. While not so good for Drake's business, it gave him and Zya the time they needed to get through the lust-filled stage of bonding.

“Just leave your hair blue, Zya. It’s beautiful. The contacts are enough,” Drake said as they were getting ready to go to work together.

“You think they like me?” she asked.

“I think they will,” he said. “Jack will probably say I’m pussy whipped for bringing you to the job.”

“What mean pussy-whipped?”

Drake chuckled. “That I do whatever you want me to so you will let me have sex with you.”

Zya laughed. “You want sex---Zya wants.” She paused. “I work, too---not just watch.”

Fortunately, the warm sunny weekend had dried the ground well for their first job. It was a maintenance visit for a yard that had been landscaped the year before. The lawn had to be mowed, rolled, and fertilized and multiple garden spots on the three-acre plot needed to be fertilized and mulched.

His crew of three was already at the job site when Drake and Zya arrived. His friend and employee, Jack Walter gave a low whistle when Zya got out of Drake’s pickup. “Who’s our new employee,” he asked.

“This is my girl, Zya Lann. She’s new in this country, and she hasn’t had time to get a job so I told her she could help us.” Drake told them. “Zya, this is Jack Walter, Kevin Lucas, and Ben Martin. She comes from a farming background and likes to garden.”

“What’s with the blue hair?” asked Jack.

Zya shrugged with a shy smile. “I try something different.”

“Well, I have to admit it works on you.” Jack smiled. “Where did you ever find her. She sounds Russian or something.”

“Matchmaking service,” said Drake.

“You mean like internet dating.” Said Kevin.

“Something like that,” Drake told them. “We really hit it off.”We fucked each other senseless for the last week, now we are bonded for life.

“So, are you from Russia?” Ben asked.

“Germany,” Drake said. “She came all this way to meet me, and we fell in love.”

“Pussy-whipped,” Jack smirked.

“Shut up, asshole,” Drake said. “You’re talking about the woman I’m going to marry. Anyway, let’s get to work. This job is going to take all day as it is.”

Drake unloaded the lawn tractor and wagon from the trailer while Jack unloaded the mower from his trailer. Kevin and Ben pulled out rakes and hoes from Ben’s. Zya went with Drake to help load bags of mulch into the wagon for him to drop off at the various garden patches throughout the property. They were all surprised at how easily Zya handled the heavy bags of mulch.

“Narova gravity heavier than Earth,” she whispered to Drake.

“I guess!” he grinned at her.

After seeing how hard Zya could work and how knowledgeable she was on the job, none of Drakes crew questioned her presence at the job sites again. As the season progressed, Drake asked Jack if he would be willing to take over the business for a year or two while he went to “Germany" with Zya to oversee her property there. Jack accepted the offer. Meanwhile, Zya arranged for theBe’Kal Zephyrto send their shuttle to pick them up from the Alliance star base hidden deep in the Monongahela Forest to take them to Narova in the fall. Drake made it known to friends and family that he was moving to Germany with Zya as cover and arranged for a rental company to lease his home.

They planned a September wedding as part of their cover for Drake's parents and brother Ted who flew in from Florida for the event. It was just a small affair in Drake's back yard with about thirty of his close friends followed by a barbecue. It was a little more emotional for Drake than he expected because he didn't entirely believe that he would ever see Earth again if they left.

That's when an idea began to form in Drake's mind. He had been good in English back when he was in school. He decided that it might be worthwhile to write down his experiences since he had been kidnapped by aliens and put it out there as fiction. It would give him something to do if things were as mechanized on Narova as Zya led him to believe.
