I needed one more taste of her lips, so I spun her.

The moment her front was plastered to mine, I slanted my head and kissed her.

Then I ripped my mouth from hers and growled, “Don’t ever walk away from me without kissing me. Got it.”

She lifted her hand and then saluted me with the middle finger.

I chuckled.

She winked.

Then I watched her ass as she walked out of the garage.

I kept watching until she climbed into her Tahoe and left the parking lot.

“About fucking time,” Garrick said as he smirked.

I lifted a brow at him, “You're not pissed?”

He chuckled, then shook his head, “Not in the least. I might have been had I not met Tatum. And had I not seen what was between you and Talia the moment she turned twenty-one.”

Well. Shit.

I nodded, then I opened the bag and pulled out the wrapped packages and the two bags of chips, along with two cookies.

For Diablo, was written on one of the wrapped packages.

And the other,For Shithead.

I snickered, then handed him his sandwich.

He sighed, then read what she wrote and chuckled.

I opened it and saw it was a Philly Cheese Steak sub.

Fuck yes.

I demolished it, along with the chips and the cookie.

Then I tagged my phone and texted her.

Me – Thank you for the food.

Minx – You're welcome.

Me – And for earlier.

Minx – Think we should make it a tradition?

Me – I’ll make my office a shrine to you.

Then I got back to work.

Eight hours later, I was smiling when I reached the house.

We had planned on her staying over tonight, and knowing her, she would have a hot meal waiting.

That was just the kind of woman she was.
