“I’m going to fuck some sense into you even if it kills me,” I growled, then I slanted my head and kissed her.

Hard.

Shoving my tongue in between her lips and got where I wanted to be.

But she shocked the fuck out of me and bit my lip.

I jerked my head back, licking at my bottom lip, “The fuck was that for?”

She glared up at me, “You think you can say shit like that and not have any consequences?”

I shook my head, “No. But I only say those things to keep others away from you.”

She gaped, then she screeched, “That doesn’t make any sense, Dominik.”

“It sure as fuck does,” I growled.

“Well, guess what? I don’t live in the chaotic place where crazy ass Dominik lives,” she snarked.

I grinned, “Yeah, you fucking do.”

She snapped, “No, the fuck I don’t.”

I tagged her hand and placed it over my heart, “You live right here, Minx. Forever and always. And I meant that I’m fucking terrified of losing you to someone better.”

Her attitude floated out of her like a tsunami.

Her entire face softened, her eyes welled with tears, then she whispered, “Dominik.”

I winked down at her, “Love you, Minx. Love you more than anything I’ve ever loved before.”

She whispered, “I love you too.”

I grinned, then muttered, “Thank fuck.”

She laughed.

But she didn’t get it.

Didn’t get why I’d been waiting.

Therefore, I enlightened her.

“I know you're frustrated that I haven’t made a move to make love to you,” I told her.

She sighed, then she nodded.

“Needed you to understand the depth of my feelings for you first. Because you're my end game, Talia. I never want you to think that you could have done better than me. Cause that would ruin me.”

When she opened her mouth, I bent my neck and kissed her.

Horns honking separated our mouths, but I leaned my forehead down on hers, then she whispered, “There is no better than you, Dominik Lee Davis.”

I winked at her, “Glad you feel that way. Know it ain’t the truth, but I’ll let you lie to me to make myself feel better.”

She smiled, then she said, “So, are you going to take me home and make love to me or what?”

I grinned, then, without saying a word, I led her to my Mustang.
