Silently I squinted past the living area. And was that a balcony on the far side of the room?I couldn’t say for sure, because the blinds were closed, but considering that we were on the top floor, a balconywouldmake sense.

Wow. Like some kind of tourist, I was still taking all of it in. I hadn't even seen the bed, but the Presidential Suite was already living up to its grandiose name.

From behind me, Reese said in a low, teasing tone, "Having second thoughts?"

I whirled to face him. "No." My heart fluttered at the sight of his handsome face, not to mention his spectacular body. The reply to his question wasn't merelyno, buthell no.

No seconds thoughts here.

And now I couldn’t stop staring – athim, not the suite.

When I still made no move, his eyebrows lifted. "So, you wanna do it in the hall?"

I laughed. "No. Of course not."

"Then youdorealize, you've got walk through the door, right?" He gave me a wicked grin. "Unless you're waiting for me to carry you?"

He looked so amazingly sexy that I suddenly felt just a little intimidated. He was a billionaire. I was a nobody.

Less than ten minutes ago, I'd propositioned him on the dance floor. Less than ten hours ago, I'd wanted to murder him in his sleep. Less than ten days ago, I hadn't even known he existed, unless I counted random mentions on gossip blogs or on social media accounts that I rarely followed.

And now, I was about to jump willy-nilly into his bed. The thought made me feel reckless and just a little giddy. I stood on my tiptoes and wrapped my arms around the back of his neck. I kissed him hot and heavy, loving the low groan he made as I slid my tongue into his mouth and ground my hips against his thighs.

He returned my kiss with a thrilling fervor, wrapping his muscular arms around my back as our kiss deepened, and my heart soared with anticipation. As my eagerness grew, I had the sudden crazy notion of calling his bluff by getting naked right here in the hall, where we currently stood.

I neverwould, of course, because I wasn't so far gone that I'd risk being caught naked in public. But the thought wasn'tthatcrazy in the big scheme of things.

The hall itself was more luxurious than anyotherspace I'd gotten naked in. And it was surprisingly private, too, considering that the Presidential Suite was located off a short hallway of its own, as if people who stayed in the very best of accommodations would never be sullied by the sight of other doors or guests who weren't quite as important.

This whole situation was utterly insane, which meantImust be insane, too.

But I welcomed the insanity as Reese's mouth moved against my own. In my whole life, I had been kissed by maybe a dozen guys. I'd had sex with barely a third of them. But already Reese was leaving all of them in the dust.

And we hadn't even made it to the bedroom.

I didn't even know where the bedroom was. Surely therewasa bedroom in there somewhere, right?

When I pulled back to gaze up at him, he said with a sly smile, "Now you've done it."

I was beyond breathless. "Done what?"

"This," he said, reaching out to sweep me off my feet and into his arms. I gave a little squeal that turned into a series of giggles as he literally carried me across the threshold like I was a blushing bride on my wedding night.

Through my laughter, I managed to say, "Hey, I would have gone in eventually."

Without breaking stride, he replied, "Too latenow."

His abs were enticingly hard shifting against my hip as he carried me through the living area and down a short hallway that led to two opposing doors. Both of them were shut, so I had no idea what lay beyond until he literally kicked one of them open, sending splinters of wood flying off to the side.

It wasn't funny, but I couldn't stop laughing. "Oh, my God. You know you're gonna have to pay for that, right?"

"Worth every penny," he said, striding forward with me in his arms heading into what I now realized must be the master bedroom. Stylish bedside lamps were already lit, illuminating the elegant space in a soft, soothing light.

As I mentally zoomed in on the king-sized bed, I saw that it was already turned down for the night, revealing fluffy white pillows, each topped with a small something-or-other wrapped in bright red foil.

Chocolate?

I didn't know, and I couldn’t bring myself to care as Reese tossed me onto the bed and dove in after me, making the mattress soundlessly bounce as I squealed in a mock protest that nobody would ever believe.
