“And now?” he asked. “You sound so surprised.”

“Yes, sorry. You have a nice ride,” I replied, turning and placing my hands on his chest. “It’s not what I expected.”

Iosif placed his hands on my hips as I started sitting back. He lowered me, staring intensely into my eyes. His touch was electrifying. Then he bent down, placing one leg, then the other, into the car. There was so much space. It smelled like a pine forest.

Once both my legs were in, he slowly moved his hands up over my knees. He got up, closed the door, and moved around the front. I held my hands to my chest as my heart raced. That was intense, and I had to take a couple of deep breaths.

As he got in, I dropped my hands back to my lap. I didn’t want him to notice how he was affecting me. “What car is this?” I asked as he pulled out of the parking lot.

Iosif glanced at me. He spoke in a proud tone as he replied. “It’s an Audi TT RS.”

“May I ask why white? Do you not like other colors?” I added.

He laughed as he spoke. “I do like other colors like black, blue, and green. Yet, white is a color of pureness, don’t you think?”

“I guess,” I responded, looking out the window, feeling kind of silly for asking. Does it have a lot of power?”

The words had barely left my mouth when I was pulled back into the seat. It was a light pull, but I could feel the power under me. He glanced at me mischievously as he accelerated. “This is a high-performance sports car. It has a 5-cylinder engine and is an all-wheel drive. Plus, it’s a limited ‘iconic edition’. What do you think?”

“Thank you for the history lesson, but it doesn’t tell me anything,” I shot back sarcastically.

He grinned, turned his attention to the road. “Hold on,” he breathed out.

The car shot forward with an incredible thrust. For a second, I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply. I felt his hand resting on my knee. Opening my eyes, I looked at him. He kept focusing ahead of him as he gently squeezed my leg. I looked at his hand and back at him.

“Are you ready?” he asked, glancing my way.

I swallowed the bulge forming in my throat while nodding. I wasn’t sure what he meant, but I couldn’t get a word out. I watched in anticipation as he pressed a button, grabbed hold of the steering wheel, and floored it.

There was a light jerking, and then the car sped up. We were moving at such a pace, the world around me was a blur. I couldn’t make out anything. He was weaving between cars and traffic as if he were one with them.

I noticed what appeared to be a turn coming at us incredibly quickly. Closing my eyes, I felt my mouth open, and the scream was born without consent. I felt the car slow for a moment. Opening my eyes, I watched as he shifted gears and took the turn gracefully.

Once around the bend, he slowed down and came to a stop. “Are you okay?” he asked, sounding truly concerned.

I looked down at my hands. They were shaking uncontrollably, and my heart was pumping vigorously. Looking over at him, I felt the fire inside me burning bright. “That was… it was amazing!” I practically screamed at him.

Turning in my seat, I grabbed his hand as I continued. “Let’s do that again.”

Iosif leaned in and kissed me. I pulled back as my stomach fluttered. I was caught off guard and was sure the shock was visible on my face. His lips were so warm and tender. His breath smelled like vanilla and cinnamon, which was a bit odd, seeing that he had three beers.

But his kiss was all the motivation I needed. I closed the gap between us quickly, kissing him fiercely. As our lips connected, I felt the fire within me turning into a raging inferno. I was on my knees on the seat, trying to devour him.

His hands were in my hair as he kissed me back. I thought I was about to explode as I pulled back. Settling back in my seat, I breathed in heavily.

“Wow, that was…,” Iosif started saying before I interrupted him.

Taking a deep breath, I spoke calmly. “Sorry, I don’t know what came over me. You seem like a nice person and have been a gentleman all night. Then here I come, behaving like an animal.”

Iosif placed his hand under my chin and turned my face to him. “You are a wild one,” he said, smiling tenderly. “I would love to tame that wild.” Slowly, he caressed my cheek and then moved down my neck. He stopped at the top of my breasts. It felt like his touch was burning me. But I wanted him to continue.

“Let’s go, my lioness,” he said, tapping the tip of my nose.

I felt the blush spread across my face. He made everything feel normal, no matter what I said or did. I felt comfortable around him and could be myself. He made everything seem positive.

After a couple of long blocks and turns, we pulled in through two large wrought iron gates. The sign read ‘Hazyview Hotel’. The driveway and parking area were dark and gave off a mystical vibe. As Iosif parked close to the entrance, I studied the castle-looking building.

I had never seen a place like this before. It was mesmerizing and a little scary at the same time. “Do you stay here?” I asked as he got out.
