“That’s it, filthy whore, scream for God. Scream for salvation,” someone taunts but I’m not even sure who—I’m too far gone. My pussy walls flutter as I continue to grind desperately against the wand, Julie slaps my tit hard before leaning into it and closing her warm mouth around it.
All of us moan in unison.
Not forced.
Not rehearsed.
Then a scream.
Real. Terrified.
We all freeze, the sound of buzzing cuts off, when another scream fills the air. The toy falls from Abby's hand, and Julie pulls away, her head locked in the direction of the sound. I pull my clothes back into place. My stomach drops and shivers run down my spine causing goosebumps to rise.
Another scream.
Splashing.
And then we bolt.
The sun is completely hidden and the moon has begun to ascend into the sky, illuminating our path to the lake. My chest tightens, lungs on fire.
That’s when we see them.
All three of us come to a stop as we watch Chris on the shoreline, knees soaked in blood. Lucy’s body is floating, half-submerged. Her throat split open as red flows into the water.
Julie screams just as Abby falls to her knees, and the sound catches Chris' attention. “I didn’t—” he begins, rising to his feet. “I found her like this. I—I—I—” He looks over at her, the crimson that stains him. “She was already gone.”
“You said you were getting help?” I ask, slowly moving away.
“I did—”
“Then what happened?” I snap, looking as the water laps at her feet, and that’s when I see something in the brush. My eyebrows press together as I move towards the object. It’s a mask. A black and white plastic mask that looks like a replica from theScreammovies. Blood is splattered across the front of it. Next to it is a Polaroid camera with a single picture sticking out. I lean down and pick up the picture. It’s a close-up of Lucy’s face. She looks terrified.
“Someone else is out here.” I mutter, as I kick at the mask with my toe. Beneath it, something shimmers in the low light of dusk.
A knife.
My body tenses as Chris moves closer, coming to a stop beside me. He follows my gaze. “Danica, I didn’t see anyone. I tried to call for help but I couldn’t manage to get a call out. I wandered back and found her like this. She was dead and alone when I got down here.”
“Then who left this?” I motion to the bloody evidence on the ground below us and the Polaroid in my hand. “Someone is out here. Someone who wants us dead.”

ABBY
SundayNight
“Julie is really upset, I’m going to take her back to her room,” Danica whispers, but I don’t even acknowledge her.
She wraps her arm around Julie’s shoulder and leads her out of the room. Their figures move in my periphery, but I’m not paying attention to them, my eyes are focused on the envelope. Sitting on my pillow is a small, blood red envelope. I don’t dare open it. I just stare at it trying to process what the fuck is happening.
Is someone hunting us? Did they bring us out here to die? Who would want us dead?
“Earth to Abby,” Chris’ voice pulls me from my thoughts.
“What?” I ask him as I blink rapidly in an attempt to refocus my eyes and my mind.
