“Yeah. As long as I have that to look forward to.”

I laced my fingers with his and pulled him to a stand. “You are a very good boy,” I said, kissing him, my hand rubbing over the metal of the cock cage under his clothes. “I don’t deserve you.”

“That is absolutely true,” he said, removing my hand and twisting away from me. “Let’s go see if dinner’s ready.”

While we ate, Taylor regaled us with stories of Riley’s new kitten.

“Seriously, this thing is so cute. I may have been replaced, actually.” Taylor frowned.

“Doubtful,” Matteo commented. “But kittens are nice.”

“Maybe we could get one?” Taylor said.

“Negative,” I stated, helping myself to more mashed potatoes.

“Nic, come on.”

“I already have a kitty,” I said, sidelining a glance to Vincent.

“What? Oh, come on.” Taylor turned to Vincent. “Seriously?”

Vincent fought a smile. “Meow?”

“Fuck you guys.” Taylor turned to Matteo. “Please, can I get a kitten? I promise I’ll look after it, and you won’t have to do anything.”

Matteo smiled. “I’m afraid I’m with Nic on this one. We have a very lovely kitty already that doesn’t need a litter box…or flea treatments.”

“No thanks. No offense, Vincent.”

“No worries,” Vincent said.

“It’s not all about sex, you know, Taylor,” I said, cutting my pork chop.

“Really?” He said, glaring at me. “Why do I not believe you?”

“Vincent enjoys pet play in a non-sexual way, too.”

“Wow, what a relief,” Taylor muttered.

“Can we stop talking about cats? Please?” Vincent protested.

I tickled him under the chin. “But you make such a pretty pussy.”

We ate in silence.

Then Matteo said, “Anyway, I’m allergic to cats.”

I put down my fork and pinned Matteo with a glance. “You could have just said that at the beginning.”
