Juno’s smile widened. “You are going to be an important part of this exhibit. Perhaps even the star attraction.”

Charles fought a smile. “Anything for you. You know that.”

Juno slid a hand to Charles’ slim neck and brought him close for a kiss to the cheek. “I do know that, my love.”

Chapter Three

Taylor had a few things to say about Juno’s predicament.

“We need to start a GoFundMe.”

“A what?” Matteo asked.

Taylor laughed. “It’s a way to get people to give you money online, old man.”

Matteo looked skeptical. “Is that legal?”

Taylor rolled his eyes. “Yes,it’s legal. People do it all the time.”

I glanced at our resident tech and social media expert. “Hmm. Can you set one up?”

“Sure. I can start one today, if you want.”

“I’ll have to ask Juno. Will they know what that is?”

Taylor shrugged. “Probably? How oldisJuno?”

That gave me pause. Things like age and gender didn’t mean a hell of a lot when it came to Juno.

“I think they’re in their early thirties. It’s hard to know because I have a funny feeling they might lie about their age.”

“If that’s remotely accurate, they’d know about it.” Taylor took the carton of milk from the fridge and poured himself a tumbler full.

“Easy. We’re going through a lot of milk these days, Taylor,” I said.

He grinned and raised the glass. “I’m a growing boy,” he said, before tipping it to his lips and drinking.

“Hmm. I might have to raise your rent.”

He carried the glass into the living room, giving me a smirk. He knew I wouldn’t raise his rent. He was already paying us a decent monthly amount—enough to cover most of his grocery needs. But I enjoyed teasing him about how much he seemed to eat and drink—like a parent, I supposed.

Taylor had a part-time job at the local GLBTQ+ shelter, and he was applying to college programs for social work. He wanted to help kids like him, who had been forced to leave their family homes because of discrimination and emotional or physical abuse. He’d been hired for clerical duties and was the person at the front desk. So, he already interacted with the people who needed the shelter’s services, but he wanted to be more qualified in order to assist them.

“Oh, by the way, I’m also helping Daphne set up an OnlyFans account. I can’t believe she doesn’t have one. She can make so much more money than she does already.”

Vincent shook his head. “I hate to say it, but that’s genius, Taylor. You’re probably right.”

“I know I’m right. But she didn’t even know what it was, so it’s been interesting…uh…introducing her to the concept.” He glanced at the rest of us. “Everyone knows about OnlyFans, at least?”

Matteo threw up his hands. “I’m afraid not.”

Taylor turned my way. “Nic. Come on!”

I smiled blithely. “Oh, I might know a little bit about OnlyFans.”

Taylor opened his mouth, and his eyes widened. “You don’t—? You don’t have—?”

“Oh, for God’s sake. No, I don’t have an OnlyFans, Taylor.” I ran my index finger along the edge of the coffee table. “I might…just follow some accounts.”
