Vincent frowned. “I don’t want to use my safeword. I just want to come!”

I laughed. “I’ve never seen you behave like this, but I know just what to do about it.”

“Oh no,” Vincent said, backing away.

“Oh yes,” I said. “Do you know what you’re going to do?”

Vincent pressed his lips together and he looked like he wanted to argue, even though I hadn’t said anything definitive yet. But the flush in his cheeks showed me he was also very, very curious.

“You’re going to strap on one of the dildos, Vincent, and fuck either me or Matteo, or both of us, with it, while your poor little penis stays in its little cage.”

Vincent blinked. “What?”

“You heard me.”

“But…but…Sir.”

I moved in close and cupped his chin in my hand. “That will teach you how to be of service without gaining any kind of reward for yourself. I should think that would be something very appealing to you.”

Vincent opened his mouth to say something. I could see the wheels turning as he thought about what I’d said. He closed his mouth and gave a little sigh of forbearance. Then nodded sharply. “Fine.”

“Oh, I wasn’t asking.”

Vincent trembled. “No, Sir.”

“Good. Then we’re on the same page.”

“Yes, Sir.”

Chapter Fifteen

The following afternoon, just after I’d gotten home from work, Taylor came in, stomping his feet and complaining about the cold.

“It’s February.” I looked him up and down. “Maybe if you dressed properly for the weather, you wouldn’t get so cold.” Then I contemplated what I’d said and sighed. “Jesus Christ. You’ve turned me into my mother.” I sidelined him a glance. “I hope you’re happy.”

“Indubitably.”

“Matteo’s making stew for supper. That should warm you.”

“Yes!” He fist-bumped the air and headed into the living room.

Taylor greeted Vincent and plopped down beside him.

“Hey,” Vincent said, not looking up from the book he was reading.

Taylor side-eyed his cousin.

“What’s your problem? You’re more sulky than usual.”

Vincent held up his book and gave Taylor a cold look. “Reading. See? A book. With pages.”

“Oh God. Is this some kind of discipline-gone-wrong, thing? I don’t even want to know.” Taylor lifted his hands in surrender. “I’ll go help Matteo with dinner.”

I took his spot on the sofa next to my pouty boy.

“You know, Vincent, for someone who responds well to teasing and denial, I’m finding your reaction to be quite puzzling.”

Vincent shifted on the sofa and winced. He remained silent.
