”We can take care of each other.”

Cass grinned and patted her shoulders.

Jo gave her a puzzled look.

”I want you to be here.”She patted her shoulders again.

”You want me to — ?Oh.Oh!But you already —“

Cass shrugged against her sheets.“If you don’t want to, you don’t have to, but I really didn’t get to show you what I can do yet.The time in the shower—you went pretty quick.”

Jo’s cheeks were warm.”You’re sure?”

“I said I’d take care of you.”

”You have.”

”Not enough, clearly. You’ve been inching forward on the bed.”

Jo looked down. She was right.Their knees nearly touched Cass’ thigh.

They cracked a grin and climbed up to Cass’ middle, their hands on her shoulders. They leaned in for a kiss, expecting something assuring and slow, but Cass kissed them in a way that made a shiver run down Jo’s back. When they parted, Jo shifted their weight forward, holding eye contact until the moment their thighs landed on either side of Cass’ shoulders.

They gripped her headboard with one hand and tangled the other in Cass’ short hair as they lowered down, legs already shaking in anticipation.

At the first pass of Cass’ tongue, Jo pitched forward, shaking from the pleasure rushing through their body and making their legs weak.Cass gripped their thighs, holding them in place. She started off slow and gentle, but already their head was tipping back on a loud moan.

Jo surrendered to the sensations cascading through their body.Cass knew exactly what to do to make them fall apart this time.Slow and steady she worked until Jo was gasping for breath and calling out Cass’ name, and when she added a finger alongside her tongue, Jo crumbled, head coming to rest on their forearms on the top of the headboard.Through wave after wave of pleasure, Jo tried to keep themselves steady until, finally, they couldn’t take anymore and they fell to the side, collapsing next to Cass on her bed with their eyes closed.

Cass’ fingertips brushed their forehead, pushing their hair out of their face. Her voice was warm and buttery smooth in their ear.“You did so well.”

Jo was still trying to catch their breath.“You did all the work.”They fluttered their eyes open to see Cass propped up on one arm looking down at them.

”Oh, but you were the one putting on such a lovely show.”

Jo scrunched their eyes closed.“I did not!”

Cass pressed a kiss to their forehead.

Jo cracked an eye open.“I hope I wasn’t too loud.”

She regarded them with a soft gaze.“You were perfect.”

That annoying voice in Jo’s head wanted to deflect, but Jo didn’t want to.They smiled and reached up to gently ruffle Cass’ hair.“So were you.”

Warm, sweaty, and high on the feelings of a new relationship, the two of them stayed in bed wrapped up in each other. The last thing Jo remembered before drifting off to sleep was Cass whispering, “I’m glad you’re here, my love.”

Wakingupinanotherpack house was strange, but waking up to Cass and having her around made Jo want to giggle and kick their feet, shout to the entire world that Cass was the actual best.

Running into Alexander in the hallway right outside of Cass’ room was almost enough to pop the giddy bubble. He stared at Jo.They stared back.He opened his mouth to speak, but no words came.He glanced at his sister’s closed door, then back at Jo.He looked like he was trying to speak again, but all he did was point at them, make a pained sort of smile, then gave them an awkward thumbs up.Jo returned the gesture and slid into Cass’ room, bursting into laughter as soon as the door was closed.

Seeing Krista downstairs was much better. She seemed to do the same dance of piecing together the scene in front of her, but she was much faster than Alexander and, instead of a thumbs up, Jo was on the receiving end of a running hug that nearly pushed them back into a wall.

”Good to see you, too,” Jo managed as the air was punched from their lungs.

Krista backed up just enough to place both hands on either side of Jo’s face.“You.Me.Coffee, dinner, whatever.ASAP.”
