And so it started.
Mike pulled the comforter off the bed and wrapped it around her before he picked her up and laid her on the bed.She instantly curled into the fetal position, shaking so hard the four-poster bed shook.
He dashed into the bathroom and turned on the hot water to fill the garden tub.Scooping her up, blankets and all, Mike carried Kam into the large bathroom.He debated stripping her clothes off then decided,fuck it all.
Cupping her face he forced her to look at him.“What do you have in your pockets?”Then he changed his mind.“Empty all your pockets.”
As she handed him her cell phone, handcuffs, zip ties, and everything she carried on her body, he placed each and every item neatly on the counter.
“Is that it?”
As though she couldn’t actually say the words, she nodded her head with small jerks up and down.
He toed off his running shoes, stripped off his socks, and quickly dropped his jeans to the floor, leaving him in nothing but his boxer briefs.In one quick move, his shirt was gone.He picked up Kam, fully dressed, and stepped into the warm tub.He placed her perfectly rounded ass on the bottom then slid in behind her, a leg on each side.
“Lie back and relax.”He put his hand close to her collarbone and gently pulled her so her back rested on his chest.“Breathe with me.We’re going to slowly inhale the heated mist of the tub, then exhale together.”
Kam did exactly as instructed.It took a few minutes, but the shaking eventually ceased.
“Are you warming up?”Mike asked as he leaned toward the faucet.“The water is getting cool.Do you want me to warm it up?”
“No.”Her voice had returned to normal, maybe even a little husky.“I’m ready to get out and into dry clothes.”
“Okay.”Mike stood and sluiced off the excess water.“Let me grab you some towels.”
When he stepped out, Kam gasped.He immediately whipped around.“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.I’m content to sit in this hot tub and enjoy the view.I thought it was excellent from the back, but I’m even more impressed with the front.”Kam’s voice was soft and sexy, her gaze glued to his erection.She started unbuttoning her blouse.“I have on way too many clothes.Seems I’m all wet.”

He handed her a regular towel but she stood there holding it, unmoving.
Mike grabbed a large bath sheet and wrapped it around her.“Come on, Kam.”He guided her to her go-bag.“Take off your wet underwear and put on something to sleep in.I’ll be right back—in my pajamas.”He lifted her chin until their eyes met.“Do you understand?”
She nodded but more importantly, he saw understanding in her eyes.
“I’m just going across the hall to grab my sleep pants.I’ll be right back.”
Kam shrugged the large towel off her shoulders and gave a full-body shudder.“I’m jumping in that bed as soon as I change."
Good.It seemed as though the adrenalin was mostly gone.But the image of Kam standing in nothing but white underwear was forever seared on his brain.She was beautiful and had no clue.
Mike was back in Kam’s room in less than two minutes.She’d already crawled under the covers and put the comforter back over top.She looked as though she was already asleep, so he quietly went into her bathroom and let the water out of the tub.
He wrang out her uniform before he bundled it and his briefs in the wet towels.Turning out the lights, he made sure the nightlight came on before he headed to the laundry.After starting the load, he stopped to check on Kam one more time.
Peering over the side to be sure she was okay; he bent down and kissed her forehead.
“Mike.”
He was surprised by the whispered word.
“Right here,” he replied quietly.
Kam rolled over and faced him.“Mike, I don’t want to be alone tonight.”She quickly added, “I’m not asking for anything except the heat of your body against mine.”
