I was sedated.
I wanted to melt into a puddle of honey all over his car.
His long fingers glistened with my slick wetness. He held his hand up and let the sun glint off his skin. A single drop of my juices rolled down his middle finger. He caught it on his tongue before cleaning his fingers like he was starving.
“You know I’m going to devour your pussy when we stop the car, right?” I loved how gruff his deep voice was. Titan made me realize I was never meant for smooth boys with suave voices and pure intentions.
I was meant for him.
The superhero villain I was never supposed to kiss.
I was meant for his tortured spirit. I was a mess of scars and bruises wearing an angel’s clothing but I was meant to be undressed by him. We could be tortured together and exist right under everyone’s noses.
Fuck what they thought.
I was meant for Titan.
“When we stop? Not when we get home?” I quizzed, biting my bottom lip.
“Nah. I’m too hungry to wait until we get home.” I looked around the New Orleans streets and wondered where he was going to take us that was private enough for what he planned to do.
I tugged on my ear a little and pressed my thighs together. I wanted to capture the way my body felt when Titan touched me. I wanted to recreate the throbbing and the pulsing and the rich pleasure he gave me.
We pulled over on a street crowded with cars and Titan parked. I had no idea where we were. I was out of my element. If it wasn’t Sugar Bayou then I wasn’t familiar. Titan reigned here but I didn’t mind following him wherever he went.
My superhero.
“You hungry?” He asked me.
“I honestly can’t concentrate after what you did.” I blushed a little. I felt the heat prickling my neck and creeping its way up to my cheeks. I had to concentrate on something else. So I craned my neck and looked up at the tall buildings with balconies wrapped in wrought iron. Flower baskets hung from the tops of awnings and conversations climbed high into the air.
“It’s like a new world in New Orleans,” I mentioned once I got out of the car. I didn’t know if I’d be able to walk since my legs were jelly and my knees were weak.
“And somehow you still manage to be the prettiest girl around. Even in a new world.” Titan smiled at me. It was devilish and smooth and rough and it set me on fire. I swallowed back and looked at him with so much adoration in my eyes I felt it pouring out of me. My skin was dewy from the humidity in the air but I couldn’t tell what was humidity and what was desire and love mixing on top of my pores.
“You’re going to make me smile my fucking cheeks off.”
“I like making you curse like that,” he said, putting his arm around my shoulders and pressing his lips to my temple. “I wonder how many curse words I can make pour out of your mouth with my tongue in your pussy.” I bumped him with my hips and let a laugh fly from between my lips. It joined the chorus of sounds painting the New Orleans air.
We walked for a while down different streets with our fingers linked together. It was simple but it made pride build tall towers in my chest so high they interfered with the way I breathed and made my heart constantly skip beats.
Titan steered me toward a small restaurant on the corner of a block filled with colorful shops teeming with live energy. Jazz spilled onto the street and I was fascinated. Jazz played often throughout Sugar Bayou but it didn’t sound like New Orleans jazz. New Orleans jazz was like magic twinkling against the clouds.
“Let’s grab something to eat then we’ll head back home.”
Jesus, did everything Titan said and did have to make me wet? My thighs were slick because of him. I wondered if he knew. He seemed to know everything about me like a mind reader.
He requested a booth when we walked in. The server grinned in his face but I noticed that was a pattern whenever he was around women. They threw themselves at his feet and he stepped over them every time.
I saw why they wanted him.
There was something in his fabric that made every woman want to try him on. Titan was cut from cloth they didn’t make anymore. He was strong in that silent way. You knew you’d be safe beside him without him having to say a word.
I knew it.
I knew he’d never let harm come to me. Even when we were kids laughing under the counter of Honey Sugar. Before the guns and the danger. I knew. Titan was a protector. That’s what he did.
Other women could sense it too.
