“If I could drive home with you like this, I swear I would,” I laughed. She laughed along with me and pressed her dewy forehead to mine.

“Is it weird that I was thinking the same thing?”

“Nah. Not weird at all. Unfortunately, you have to get off of me because knowing our crazy asses we’d make that happen and I don’t want a ticket driving home.” Kyle agreed and then slid off me. The way she felt in my lap was already etched in my mind as nostalgia.

“Are you on birth control, Kyle?” I quizzed as I pulled the condom off and balled it up in a napkin from the glove box.

“Of course I am. I’m old fashioned. I’m on the pill. I don’t trust IUDs. I’ve seen too many lawsuits.” I nodded in response and tucked my dick away. One glance at her and I was ready to stuff her full of dick all over again. “And if you’re thinking about coming in me raw, Max, you can get that thought right out of your fucking head.”

I shrugged my shoulders and rubbed the back of my neck. My sheepish grin was unavoidable. “I can’t help the thought. You know how sweet your pussy is?” I slid a finger up her thigh while she was busy putting those pretty mocha titties away.

“I do. Whenever I see you it seems to get sweeter for some reason.” She cast a bashful glance at me and I felt my dick thicken in my pants.

“Unless you want to get fucked in this car for the rest of the night, stop talking like that.”

“I guess we should get home. Oh god, do you think anyone saw us in here fucking? I can’t get hit with indecent exposure.”

“Fine time to think about your actions Kyla Bradshaw, attorney at law.”

“I know. You make me fucking crazy. Some kind of black magic you have,” she sighed and clicked her seatbelt into place. “Let’s get the hell out of here before someone comes tapping on the window.” I let out a deep laugh and started the car so we could drive home. I was intent on fucking her all night until she couldn’t move one limb.

KYLA

My eyelids felt like cement at work on Monday after spending the weekend in Max’s bed or with him in my bed. At least I had my apartment to myself since Naima and Cadence decided they were new best friends.

I wasn’t jealous at all.

At. All.

Lies. I’m lying but whatever.

“Hey girlie,” Cadence poked her head in my office just as I pressed my forehead to my desk. I was hoping for a few minutes of sleep since Max kept me up all night with his face between my thighs. Iwasin heaven though.

“Hi. I’m dead, currently but come back at lunch with tequila and I’ll rise again.” When I lifted my head, I saw Cadence walk in and shut my door. She sat down across from me and crossed her legs. Her eyes were bright.Toodamn bright.

“Spill all the fucking tea. Now,” she said.

“Ugh. Naima opened her big ass mouth while yall were over there bonding, didn’t she?” I groaned.

“Maybe. Maybe not. All I know is a little birdie told me that you and Max were bumping uglies.” A smile spread across her brown face and I glared at her hoping it somehow transfered to Naima because I knew she was the one who ran her damn mouth.

“Bumping uglies, Cadence? Are we twelve? Plus, there’s nothing ugly about any of this.” I gestured to my body and she rolled her eyes.

“I’m at work. I’m being professional,” she quipped.

“Oh? And how is asking me who I’m fucking being professional again?” I held her gaze and she raised an eyebrow like she was entitled to know the intricate details of my personal life.

After our little stare down, I absolutely told her all the intricate details of my personal life. I leaned back in my chair and stared at the ceiling for dramatic effect. In my mind, I was starring in my own reality TV show.

“I spent all weekend with Max and I don’t know if I’m going crazy or not but…Ilikedit. I’m sure Naima told you all of this so it’s a recap.” I waved my hand in the air and Cadence laughed. That laugh alone was admission enough for me.

“Seriously though, Kyla I think that’s amazing. You’re spending time with someone you really like. What’s wrong with that?” She shrugged.

“Nothing when you don’t know the history of Max and me. Let me fill you in, or did Naima already do that?” I gave her a knowing look and her cheeks turned red. She shook her head and I eyed her. “After I’m done spilling my tea, I’m going to need for you to spill some yourself. Sincemyallegedbest friend has been gone, I haven’t had a chance to properly harass her.” I glanced at the way Cadence’s foot wagged back and forth and smirked. I knew I had her ass. I’d nail her later though. Now wasn’t the time.

“Anyway,” I said. “Max and I have hated each other since the dawn of time. I’m guessing when he became sentient and crawled out of his cave, he moved into The Avant where we live now. He lived there first then I moved in. He saw me carrying boxes into my apartment and offered to help. I denied him because we all know I don’t need a big strong man to help me do shit.”
