Little Bro: Whatever you say, Max LOL.
I glared at his response and I wanted to say something back to him but I had a client to deal with. Mr. St. Jean was one of my particular clients and the moment I saw his name pop up on my schedule for the day, I knew I’d be busy until I walked out of Capital Finances.
I was right.
Mr. St. Jean didn’t leave until five minutes after it was time for me to leave. At least all of his accounts were in order though.
As I turned out the lights in my office, I saw Tiana packing up to go as well. She didn’t have her own office but she was gathering her things. She slipped her forearm through her purse strap and picked up her keys, letting them dangle off her index finger. When they fell, I started to rush over like the gentleman that I am, and pick them up for her but then I realized if I did that, I’d cheat myself out of a marvelous fucking view.
Tiana bent at the waist and once her perfect ass was in the air, I tipped my head to the side to get a better view. The split going up the back of her pencil skirt nearly gave me the view I was praying for.
When she stood upright, I cleared my throat making her spin around with a gasp. I cracked a smile and walked over to her, slipping my hands in my pockets. “Good, you’re still here. Why don’t I walk you to your car?” She knew exactly what I was getting at. The shining look of desire danced in her cocoa pools.
“You’re so sweet, Max,” she purred.
We walked out of the building together and in the next ten minutes, I had her riding my dick until sweat rolled down her pretty brown skin and she was a mess of trembles. Like I said, ten-minute notice.
After we both came, Tiana climbed off my still throbbing dick and I took the condom off, pushing out a long breath. “Can we do this again?” She asked with bright eyes. I knew that look. That was the look of hope. Sex with me held no hope. I could only promise her good dick and a few laughs. That was it.
I shrugged at her question and looked at her. “Tiana, we can do this a few more times but in all honesty, I’m not the relationship kind of guy. I told you that.”
“I know. I’m not asking for a relationship. This is fine. I’m not clingy at all. I don’t have time to be.” She laughed a little and fixed her hair in the pull-down mirror.
I’d heard plenty of speeches like the one Tiana was giving me in the driver’s seat of her car. They were all lies so far. I hadn’t met a woman yet that genuinely didn’t care about being in a relationship after fucking for a while. They never came right out and asked me to be in a relationship. Instead, they said shit like, what are we, Maxwell? Or they started acting catty to any other woman they knew I was fucking. It was too much drama.
I didn’t do drama.
I could tell by the way Tiana rode my cock with so much determination that she would be drama later on. I stroked her hair and chuckled a little. “I don’t think that would be a good idea. This was fun as hell though. Maybe another time but we can’t do this on a regular basis.”
“So you’re a fuckboy, essentially?” She deadpanned, staring at me with her arms folded.
“I’m not. I’m up front and I’ve never lied to you. I’m not going to start lying now because you want us to keep fucking. Like I said, we can do it a few more times but I’m not going to sit with you and plan it out. When it happens, it happens.” I saw the irritation brewing inside of her and I knew that was my cue to leave. She’d calm down after a while but right then Tiana was pissed.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Tiana.”
“Whatever, Max.” She rolled her eyes and scoffed and I hopped out of her car and went to my own.
…
When I got home, Kyle was already in the lobby of our building chatting up Mark the concierge. I paused and stared at her for a moment. She had on that stupid ass poodle wig with curls spiraling left and right. It would have been nice if it was her natural hair but I knew what Kyle looked like underneath that thing.
Even though she was the bane of my existence, I couldn’t deny her physical appeal. She was fine as fuck. The girl wasbad. The wig knocked her down more than few pegs though. There was nothing attractive about a woman not standing firm in who she was just because of a job. Fuck that job. She was a good enough lawyer to start her own damn firm if the one she worked at didn’t value her enough.
I’d never tell her I felt that way though. Kyle absorbed compliments like some kind of fucking black hole. “Is it time for you to be out attacking innocent folks already, Kyle?” I smiled as I strolled past her. I waved to Mark and headed for the elevators. Little Miss Attorney was hot on my trail. I heard the pace of her heels pick up behind me as I pressed the up button.
“God, you smell cheap. Like something fruity purchased from the Dollar Store. You must have met a mutt on the way home, huh?”
“Kyle, that’s no way to talk about yourself. Buck up.” I nudged her with my elbow before we stepped on the elevator. “Listen, I’m bringing Sadie by tomorrow so I’d like it if you tried to emulate human behavior for once in your life.” The elevator gave a soft chime and Kyle and I both walked onto our floor.
“You haven’t given up on her yet? I’m telling you, Max, she’s going to break the space in your chest that used to hold a heart before you became a man-whore.” My stupid feet followed her right into her apartment. Sometimes, I liked to watch the moment she stopped being Kyla and became Kyle.
True to form, the second she set foot over the threshold, she snatched the curly wig off her head and tossed it on the arm of the couch. I stood there holding my briefcase while she unpinned her locs and let them fall down her back. With nimble fingers, she began undoing her braids while talking shit to me. To be perfectly honest, I couldn’t hear a goddamn word she said.
It was partially because Barkley was running circles around my ankles but mostly because once she took her braids out, her gorgeous ebony locs were a cascade of waves that hypnotized me.
Just the hair though. Not Kyle. Never Kyle.
“Well, since you’re here are you going with me to walk Barkley?” She leaned over and scooped a pink starburst into her hand then plucked the paper wrapper away. I avoided looking down her shirt even though her silk dress gave me just enough room to be a pervert.
