Aw heck. He was done for. He hadn’t thought he could love this woman more than he already did, but then she had to go and say that.

“You sure?” His voice was little more than a rumble, but he had to ask. He wasn’t sure his heart could take it if she changed her mind. “Not New York?”

Her smile grew a little bigger, her eyes shining with tears. “You’remy New York. You’re my Amsterdam. You’re my Paris, my Dubai, my outer Siberia. You’re my African safari.” She laughed. “I could live anywhere, JJ, as long as you’re there too.”

He leaned down to kiss her. It wasn’t some chaste brush of the lips but a deep touching of souls. The kind of kiss he could pour his every fiber into. It was sweeter than anything he’d ever experienced in his life. She kissed him back with an urgency that made his heart kick. She kissed him like she couldshowhim how much she meant what she’d said.

Lifting her off her feet, he pulled her into a bear hug while she laughed and cried. The next kiss they shared was warm and tender and filled with love.

That kiss, with the woman of his heart in his arms and the sound of her laughter still ringing in his ears…

It was home.

This kiss, this woman…

It was his future.

Rose leaned in to Dahlia as the crowd around them burst into applause. “You’re not allowed to cry more than me,” she said as she giggled through her tears. “I’m the hormonal one, remember?”

Dahlia laughed too, a hiccupy sound escaping that was thankfully swallowed by the cheering and laughter around them as the guests greeted the new bride and groom.

Emma and Nash paraded down the aisle, beaming and happy, as they led the wedding party toward the back. Lizzy was halfway down the aisle when she turned to Dahlia and Rose, giving them two thumbs up, which had Dahlia laughing all over again.

And crying.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with me,” she whispered to JJ, who hadn’t let go of her hand on the entire ride into town or throughout the ceremony.

She had a feeling he’d never let her go again if he could help it.

And she couldn’t say she minded one bit.

He leaned over and kissed the top of her head. “You cry all you want, sweetheart. You’ve been through so much these past weeks. You are absolutely entitled.”

She nodded, her lips quivering all over again.

“Have I mentioned how proud I am of you?” he murmured.

She tipped her head up to give him a wobbly smile. These dang tears were just irritating at this point. She was happy. She’d never been happier.

And she didn’t have a single regret.

The look on JJ’s face when she told him she’d quit her job… she’d hold that in her heart forever.

She’d known she was making the right decision as she’d boarded the plane to Montana. But when JJ had pulled her into his arms…

Well, nothing in her life had ever felt so right.

Dahlia was dimly aware of Rose and Dex whispering beside her. She caught Dex saying her name.

“What’s that about?” she asked Rose.

Rose pressed her lips together, but a giggle escaped as she turned bright pink. “He was wondering if maybe you might be pregnant too.”

Dahlia’s jaw dropped, and the surprise was enough to stop her tears.Thank goodness.

“No!” she finally yelped, turning to see JJ scrubbing a hand over his mouth, trying to hide a grin.
