Corbin wanting to move in together worked in his plans for their future. It appeared they were on the same page, after all.

“Really?” he asked.

Corbin softly kissed him on the lips.

“Yeah, I’m getting tired of bouncing back and forth from your place to mine. Let’s just live at my place, and start a life together. I love you so much, Baby.”

Tears filled Will’s eyes.

He couldn’t believe it.

“I love you too, Corbin,” he said, touching his face with his fingers. “I can’t believe you want me to live with you.”

He knew he had to come clean.

Honesty was the best policy in any relationship, and that was the one thing that he and Will always had.

And always would.

That was their foundation from the first date.

“I’ll be honest.”

Will waited.

“I know that we’re supposed to be together. I know in my heart that you were made for me. I’m going to move fast from this point out, and if it scares you, just tell me.”

That hung there.

Will said nothing because he was already at the‘I do’stage of this. He was just waiting for Corbin to show any sign he was catching up.

“So, I’m asking you to move in with me so we can work on figuring out if we can actually take this further. I know you’re not out to your family, or at work, but I don’t just want a roommate. I’m looking for a partner forever,” he stated, just not saying the one word.

HUSBAND.

Corbin didn’t want to scare him.

Will placed his head on Corbin’s shoulder, and held onto him.

“Oh, Corbin.”

Now, he was curious.

“Can you see yourself being only mine one day?” he asked softly. “If you can’t, Will, I need you to let me go. I’m invested in us. I already see you as my person.”

Will ran his hands up and down his man’s back, and he had a secret of his own.

He wanted that more than anything. They had the same goal.

“I want to be yours,” he admitted. “I don’t just want to be your roommate. I’ll cut off ties with my family and come out at work if you’re serious about me being yours.”

He made him look into his eyes.

“I’m serious.”

Will felt his heart flip in his chest, and he had butterflies like he had on their first date—and every date since.

“Well, then, yes, I’ll move in with you, Corby, when you wrap this case. Let’s start our life together. When do you want me to? Do you mean literally right after you wrap this case?” he asked.
