Streghetta mia, you have no idea what the fuck you do to me. Why two weeks? What are you hiding?

ME:

I’ll tell youin two weeks.

Grinning, I add one last text.

ME:

How’s your bite mark?

DARIO:

Throbbing, just like my dick.

I laugh while I type.

ME:

It’s only fourteen days. You’ll survive.

DARIO:

Why are you so sure I won’t go out and find someone else?

ME:

Because I know you, Dario. It’s my pussy you want, and you won’t settle for anything less.

DARIO:

You’re infuriating, streghetta mia.

I send him the kissy face emoji and tell him I’ll see him at our next session. Putting my phone aside, I roll over and quickly fall asleep. He’d worn me out tonight during our training session, and when I wake the next morning, I’m not at all surprised to find that I’m still sore.

Most of the day is spent lounging around. I do a few stretches, trying to work out the ache from my muscles, and then I spend the rest of the time with my mom. My dad’s out working, so I help her with supper and then we watch a comedy while I wait for Sasha.

As soon as he walks in, I run to my room so I can grab my knives. My black boots make it easy to conceal a small knife at my ankle, and I slip another into the forearm sheath Sasha had bought me. He’d found a size small enough to fit me, and as long as I’m wearing a hoodie, no one will ever be the wiser.

When I meet my brother in the kitchen, our mom is leaning inclose, showing him all the new photos of Enzo. She has the same huge smile she always gets on her face when looking at her grandkids.

“Isn’t he cute?” she asks, grinning up at Sasha. “I can’t believe Nat has two kids.”

“He’s really cute,” Sasha says, “and I’m guessing she’ll be having a few more.”

“I hope so,” our mom says and then looks between the two of us. “Because I’m guessing you two won’t give me any grandkids for quite some time.”

“If ever,” I say with a grin.

My mom points a finger at me. “Never say never. You have plenty of time to meet someone who will change your mind about that.” She turns that finger on my brother. “That goes for you, too.”

“I’m not so sure about that, Mom,” Sasha says. “You might want to start working with Dominic. I’m sure the two of you can come up with a plan that will ensure Nat’s pregnant again in no time.”

Our mom laughs and holds out the phone, showing Enzo’s chubby, smiling face. “But I really want a little Sasha and Mia to spoil.”

“I’m not so sure the world is ready for our spawn,” I tell her, giving her a hug and making sure she can’t feel my knife while I do it. Sasha notices the subtle move that keeps my forearm out of the way and gives me a quick nod of approval.

“The world would be lucky to have your babies in it, but there’s no rush.” She gives Sasha a hug and then tells us to be careful and that she loves us.
