It didn’t matter though,I had to piss, and I was hungry, but I wasn’t leaving. I contemplated walking over to a bush to relieve my bladder when all of a sudden, his car sped past me and into the driveway. Bingo!
I puton my black gloves and popped the glove compartment open to grab my other gun, making sure that I tucked them both on me. With my hands in my pockets, I casually walked up the block and straight to the front door. I didn’t have time to play with this nigga, wasn’t gonna be no breaking and entering or none of that bullshit. I reached the top step on the porch and knocked on the door three times waiting a few seconds. No answer.
I triedmy luck and rang the doorbell another three times. No answer. What the fuck was this nigga doing?I thought. I grabbed the doorknob and was shocked when that shit actually opened. This nigga was high; he had to be, he was way too careless. I remembered it visually when I walked in. I looked at the couch that I found Kisha on, the fucking coke was still on the table and this shit was getting me hot.
I tookmy time pointing my gun carefully just in case this nigga was trying to pull a fast one. I was gonna bust his ass to the white meat. It looked like he walked in and took his clothes right off because the trail led directly to the master suite and just like I thought, the nigga was knocked out on the bed, on his back, butt ass naked with his dick standing straight up in the air. I adjusted my gloves and walked closer to his sorry ass as he snored with coke on the tip of his nose.
I tookone aim at his dick and let loose firing one single shot. Pow! His eyes flew open, and he grabbed it with both hands as blood gushed. The nigga was so high on coke that he probably didn’t realize how painful the shit was. His eyes were wide open when he looked at me.
“Nigga! You shot me! You fucking shot me!” He yelled in disbelief hopping up off the bed. I put one in his kneecap. Pow!
“Sit your flaw ass down!”I yelled.
“Ahhh, shit man!”He now grabbed his kneecap falling back on the bed holding it. “Okay! Okay! What the fuck you want man? Everything is in the attic, take it and get the fuck out my crib yo!” He said with wide eyes and tears. Blood was everywhere.
I was somad I think I was foaming out the mouth. I walked closer looking in his eyes. “I’m gonna take that shit anyway; that still won’t make you keep your life.” I balled my lips up and stood over him.
“I don’t even knowyou, nigga!” He barked.
I chuckled.“Oh, you awake now, huh?” I shook my head. “Nigga, you just sad.”
He usedhis free hand to wipe his nose as he sniffed in between cried. “I just told you everything you want to know man, get the fuck out my crib! Call an ambulance, do something! Just don’t let me die!” He begged.
“You was rightwhen you said you don’t know me.” I said. “But I know somebody who you may definitely know and she’s real important to me, my nigga. Just because you want to be a coke head don’t mean you had to turn Kisha into one.”
He stopped squirmingwhen I said her name. “Kisha? Where the fuck is she? Where’s my little young girl? I own that bitch! She set me up? I’mma kill her ass.” He was crying again.
“Nah nigga, she’s not your bitch or anybody else’s. You’ll never get the chance to treat her like one again.” I put the gun to his head. “I’m Meek, remember me nigga. I’ll see you on the other side.”
Pow!
That was my final shot.I watched this clown take his last breath and went straight to his attic to clear that shit out. Another one off the checklist and this was now more personal than business. I made my way out the door and back to my truck in this quiet ass neighborhood deserted away from everybody. He thought this spot would be a good hideout; he was wrong, and he fucked with the wrong person.
CHAPTER 8
Iwoke up with the worst headache ever, like literally worse than I’d ever had in my life. I grabbed the side of my head and struggled to focus in on my surrounding. I didn’t know where I was, I couldn’t remember shit, and the room didn’t look familiar at all. I sat up and grabbed my throat; it was super dry and cotton like. So dry that I couldn’t even swallow. I hopped up and ran to the visible bathroom that connected with the room and put some tap water in the palm of my hand before swallowing it down my throat. I repeated that at least four times before I was satisfied.
I slowly walked backout to the room when panic took over me all of a sudden.Who the hell brought me here?I thought to myself. The opening of the door caused me to jump and grab my chest. In walked a bow-legged brown skin girl. I took a minute to look her up and down; she was average looking with a banging ass body. “Hi Kisha, I’m Reesie, Meek’s girlfriend.” She said placing a cup of coffee and fresh towels on the dresser.
“Meek?”I asked placing my hand up to my mouth. “Meek? How did I get here? Where is Meek?”
She chuckledbut I didn’t see anything funny. “Meek will be here in a few minutes. We found you at Kidd’s house and it looked like you were having a hard time.” She said.
I stretched my eyes.“Kidd? What were ya’ll doing at my house?” I questioned and then I remembered the coke on the table; everything started to come back to me.
She raised an eyebrow.“So, you live there?”
“That’smy boyfriend’s house but he was letting me live there.” I told her and then caught myself, why was I telling her my business? I didn’t even know her. “Where’s Meek? I need to see him.”
“Oh,he’s coming and I’m sure he has questions.”
I satdown on the edge of the bed feeling paranoid, I was craving, and I knew for what. I used my fingers and moved my hair from my face as I rocked back and forth.I can fight this; I can fight this,I told myself. I wasn’t my mother’s child, that life wasn’t for me. “Can you give me a minute?” I asked.
“Sure, but there’s some clean towels and a new toothbrush. There’s also some coffee for you to drink. Everything else is in the bathroom. I don’t have clothes that can fit you since you’retaller than me but I’ll grab a pair of Meek’s basketball shorts and a shirt.” She offered.
I looked downat the carpet. This was so embarrassing. “Thank you.”
“No need tothank me Kisha, anybody that’s a friend of Meek’s is a friend of mine.” She smiled. “And one last thing.” She said with her hand on the knob getting ready to walk out.
