“Won’t get a response from me, ain’t no confessions

Before I tell a lie, won’t tell you nothin’

Any time I got you, girl, you’re my possession

Even if I hit you once, you’re part of my collection.”

Vibing to Future,I rode the empty streets of Milly Grove with no real destination in mind. For it to be a Saturday evening, there wasn’t too much going on. With the weather being a little on the gloomy side, I decided to close both of my shoe stores for the day. The ladies I employ are college students, and they’ve told me that rainy days are the best days to study. I fuck with them heavy, so if days like this were the perfect days for them to handle their school shit, I’d close down shop every time.

“Talk to me,” I answered my ringing cell phone, declining further into my seat as I pulled from my blunt. “If you on some bullshit, hang up now. I ain’t going back and forth with nobody’s slut-ass daughter today.”

“Wild…” Talena’s whiny-ass voice flowed through the speakers of my Trackhawk. “I thought you told me you weren’t going to fuck on Erica anymore. Why was she sitting in my living room showing me pictures from two nights ago of you leaving her house?”

Without even giving that broad an answer, I disconnected the call and turned the volume up as I continued to cruise through the town. One thing I never do is provide these hoes with an explanation for anything I do. I’m a single man doing single shit. Most importantly, I’m grown as fuck. I’ll sling this meat to Talena’s mammy if I want to. Knowing Tabitha, she’ll gobble this motherfucker right on up.

“Fuckin’ skeezers,” I mumbled as another call from Talena displayed on the dashboard. She ate dick and balls like it was her favorite meal, and that’s why I kept her around and dealt with her shit. I ignored her second call just for her to call again privately. “This bitch ain’t gon’ stop until I snap her fuckin’ neck.”

Being that I was only a few blocks from the hood, I decided I’d pull up on her to see what the fuck her problem was. I make it very clear to every female I stick my dick in that I’m not a one-woman man. There’s always that one who thinks the rules don’t apply to her, so she ends up getting her feelings hurt. That shit is on them—not me. If I tell you not to jump in the ocean and you do it anyway, knowing you can’t swim, how the fuck is it my fault if you drown? I don’t have a life jacket to give your dumb ass.

Pulling up to her building at the Heights, I took notice of everyone out today. It didn’t matter if it was a tsunami or a snowstorm; the block was always going to jump. My brothersrarely came to the hood, but I loved the ghetto shit. While I grew up in a gated community with the finest education money could buy, my mom made sure we knew where she was raised. Evelyn didn’t hesitate to have my brothers and me back in the hood, doing all types of charities and neighborhood clean-up projects. From that, I quickly understood my privilege, but it didn’t stop the comfort I got from being surrounded by everyday people, and while I loved the Heights as if I was from here, I never tried to pretend I was. My homies lived here, though, so this is where I just naturally wanted to be. The suit and tie my older brother wore wasn’t my style, and the silent attack persona my second-oldest brother had was not something I possessed. The hood understood my craziness, and they respected my wildness.

“Hey, Wild,” the hood’s hoe, Dee, greeted me as soon as I stepped out of my truck. Dressed in a tank top that was two sizes too small and shorts that barely covered her pussy, the girl was fine. Like most women, she was shorter than I, so she would always look up at me with lust in her eyes. As bad as she was, I wouldn’t touch this girl with a ten-foot pole. “When you gone stop playing and give me some dick?”

“When you gone stop playing with your health and go get that pussy checked?” I spoke over my shoulder as I ascended the stairs to Talena’s unit. “I smelled that fish tank as soon as I stepped out of my truck. You gone fuck around and have me call the CDC on you, girl.”

Her mouth hung open in embarrassment as the few people around us laughed at her expense. I could be a dickhead at times, but these people know me. She should have known I was going to hurt her feelings before she decided to offer me that freshly baked tilapia she calls a coochie.

Bam! Bam!

“Who the fuck is knocking at the door?” I heard a male’s voice boom from the other side. “Lena, come see who the fuck is beating on my shit! I’m playing the game!”

Chuckling lowly, I stepped back from the door, crossing my hands at the waist. I couldn’t care less about Talena having her nigga over here. Hell, she knew she had her nigga here when she decided to beat down my line. It didn’t take long before I heard the locks click and the door swung open.

“Wild!” She gasped, tightening the too-small robe around her thick frame. “What the hell are you doing here?”

“Why the hell you blowing my phone down like you’re my bitch?” I mugged her. “What did I tell you about that shit?”

“It’s not a good time,” she spoke in a hushed tone as she peeped over her shoulder. “I’ll call you later and—Wild!”

Pushing past her, I let myself into her apartment with her yelling behind me. As I entered her living room, I glanced to see if anyone else was here. She usually kept her place clean and smelling good, so that didn’t surprise me when nothing was out of place. Locking eyes with the muscle-man-ass nigga on her couch, I smirked as the frown spread across his face.

“Wild Mills?” He paused his video game and stood from his seat. “What the fuck are you doing in my house?”

“Man, sit the fuck down.” I waved him off before taking a seat in the recliner next to the love seat. “I just wanted to stop by and make sure everything was okay with our girl, Lena. She was blowing my line up like she was in a fuckin’ crisis, and I wanted to make sure she was straight.” I smirked before dragging my eyes back to a shocked Talena. “You good, baby?”

Looking from me to her man, I could tell she was nervous and didn’t know what to do. Again, that didn’t have shit to do with me. I could see the sweat forming above her brow as steam rose from his bald head. Both of them looked like something straight off Cartoon Network.

“Lena, what the fuck is this nigga talking about?” He gritted his teeth as he shot daggers her way. “You fucking this nigga?”

“What? No!” Her voice stammered as she tied her robe around her even tighter. “I-I was looking for E-Erica, and I thought that maybe she was with him. S-She’s fucking with him, not me.”

I watched coolly as the two of them argued back and forth about why she was calling my phone. I didn’t want to blow her lie by telling this nigga that I just had her on her knees in the very spot he stood in, so I let them rock. Going into the kitchen, I grabbed a bottle of water and a bag of chips right as there was another knock on the door.

“Friend, what the hell y’all got going on over here?” Erica walked into the apartment with her hand on her slim hips. “I can hear y’all all the way down the hall.”

While Talena was short and thick, Erica was thin and had a model’s height. Talena was dark chocolate while Erica was so damn light-skinned you’d think she was white. The two had been best friends for years, so I figured, why fuck just one when I could fuck them both? They’ve been sharing things their entire lives, so dick shouldn’t be a problem.

“I was just telling Alvin that I was calling Wild’s phone looking for you,” Talena responded as she pointed in my direction. “Wild, you can leave now.”
