“That's what I fucking thought.” I snatch the laptop off the table, grabbing my gun and stuffing it beside me and my phone on the other side. I open the laptop and my fingers get towork.

ACE

My vision is blurred with red hot rage, about to crawl out of my own fucking skin, stuck on this boat, unable to get to this safe house before Charles.

This could ruin every fucking thing. I get why she kept this from me, I won't tell her where the Collins Key is, and she is taking a huge risk telling me. But I am not that Man, I will not take what is her's. At least I won't forever. But when I get my hands on that Medallion, it will disappear again. I won't let someone get their hands on it. She will know where and I will not keep it from her, she is trusting me with something that could get her killed, and I respect her for that.

My problem is not her keeping it from me, it is the fact this was not found by my team when they looked into her, a detail that has been missed that could’ve cost me, and I want to know why.

How does Charles know? What does he know? No matter what, I need her to give me every detail and I do realize I am pushing a button with her that I need to stop pressing.

Watching her little fingers tap across the keyboard in a pace I can't even see what is happening, but the intense focus in herstare on the screen as she chews on her lip, causes me to smirk. Impressed as fuck with her right now. If she has hid this so well, I'm interested to see what else she has up her sleeve.

EMMA

I pull up the maps in the area of my safe house, a very secluded cabin in the woods. Zooming in, taking in a deep breath letting it out with a sigh as I find the secret house, then look up to Ace. “This is a map of the area, and this is my safe house.” I turn the screen towards Ace and point, then proceed to tell him everything. “Alright, so right here, is the house, there is no driveway to it, no roads. The main road is here.” I show him where the main road is, which gives me four different ways of getting to the cabin, and I point them all out. “Now this entrance is the special one and the way we need to go.”

Ace snaps his eyes up meeting mine. “And why is that?”

“I'll show you that when I get there.” I smirk.

“Emma…” He growls.

I shake my head as my lips go into a straight line, beforeI say. “I just told you all the ways of getting to the cabin and the one that's most important. When we get there, I will show you, you have to trust me, for me to trust you, Ace.”

He searches my eyes before he nods. “You've broken my trust once, don't break it, again Baby Girl, or you will hate me and I will walk away from you with everything.” His words are like venom spreading through my veins as I swallow the lump in my throat. Turning the screen back to me, as I go back to work, getting into my security system there, to also show Ace. It takes work to get into my security system, but once I do, I run through the cameras and nothing is touched, no sign of activity.

I turn the screen and show Ace. “These are the camera's on the site, you can scan through them and get a feel for the layout if you would like.” I search his eyes. “I know you're angry, but I am telling you everything besides one thing, and you will find out where it is when my hands are on it and you need to respect that.” I shove the computer towards Ace before I stand from my chair, heading for the door to get some air and away from Ace.

“Where the fuck are you going?” He asks in a growl and I spin around. “To give you space until you know how to talk to me.” And I walk out the door, slamming it behind me.

I walk down the deck to the back of the yacht, resting my elbows to the railing as I lean over, enjoying the cool fresh breeze blowing against my skin, cooling the heat inside me.

I've trusted Ace enough to tell him everything but one, and that is the exact location of the Medallion and that I will not tell him. I know I broke his trust with my racing shit, but this is way bigger than me sneaking off to race a fucking car. And Pop always told me to never trust anyone with this information.

I've said it before, I may not know everything about the Mafia world, the bad side to it, the fighting side, the side Ace knows, but,I'm smart and I've learned a lot of the business, secretive, technical shit.

I hear heavy footsteps getting closer causing me to look over my shoulder, seeing Ace walking towards me. I turn my head back around as he steps up behind me. His hand snakes around my front, flattening his hand against my stomach, pulling me back against him as he towers over me. “I'm not angry with you.” He presses his lips to my cheek then whispers against my skin sending a shiver down my spine. “I don't like how you've outsmarted me and I'm not in control.” I smile as he dips his head to my neck before he nips my skin between his teeth.

“You are still very much in control Ace.” My words come out in a whisper before I turn and look up to him. Meeting those blues as they bore into my eyes, my hands trail up his chest as he snakes his arms around me. “One day you will realize I'm not who you think I am, Ace.”

“Oh I know. I have already realized that, but I want to know who taught you this tech shit.”

Giving him a playful smirk, my words come out mischievous. “I can't tell you all my secrets now.” He lifts a brow and I snort a laugh before I say. “I'm just kidding. Zee taught me everything.”

A sound rumbles from Ace's chest. Not sure if it was a growl, a chuckle, both, I don't know, but his words come out deep. “I should have known. You two are close, aren't you?”

I nod. “Yes, he's always been there for me, but it's not what you think. I'm not Zee's type. He's a great friend that has helped me a lot, but that's all we are.”

Ace nods before he says. “We only have a few hours until we port, you should try to get some sleep.”

I laugh. “Yeah, that's not happening, my mind is too busy and antsy to relax.” The look in his eyes changes to a deep desire, causing me to bite my lip with my smile. I get up on my tip toes, whispering in his ear. “Take my mind off it?”

Ace growls, pressing me against the railing, his hand wraps around my neck and pulls my lips to his. I moan against his lips as my fingers curl around the hem of his suit jacket, pulling him tighter against me.

He hooks his arm around my waist, and lifts me as he walks to the cushioned couch beside us before he sits down, with me on his lap straddling him, never parting our lips. My hands slide up his chest, to his neck, over his shoulders as I rock my hips into him. Goosebumps prickle my skin as his hand trails up my thigh, closer to my pussy. He doesn't mess around, he pulls my panties to the side before two fingers slide between my slick folds, over my clit causing me to rock my hips against him. My eyes flutter, his touch arousing me in ways only he has been able to do... and god does it feel good.

His fingers slide inside me, before sliding out, and back in again, deep as they brush against my walls. His thumb finds my clit and starts working slow circles as my hips buck and I start riding his fucking hand. “Fuck Ace.” I moan.
