Allesandro shakes his head and steps closer, grabbing Cor’s hand in his and inspecting it. “Hmmm, which finger should go first?”

“Well, since he won't be working in the hospital ever again,” Cristian says slowly. “It doesn't really matter which. Choose the one that calls to you the most.”

Allesandro hums in contemplation, and then seems to make his choice, as he shows Cor the small pair of pruning shears he took from one of the tables lining the room.

Cor tries to struggle, but the restraints on the chair hold him tight.

I watch, fascinated as Allesandro isolates his middle finger, then slides the shears on either side of the digit.

It takes a bit of force on his part, the muscles in his arm bulging in a way that makes my cock perk up once more, but the shears slice through flesh and bone, until the finger drops neatly to the floor.

Cor’s screams echo off the cement walls, as do the sounds of him retching.

I roll my eyes.He calls himself a doctor, yet can't handle a little bit of pain and blood.

“Do you mind, Doc?” Allesandro asks.

I head back to the table and get my bag, pulling on a pair of gloves before grabbing what I need to staunch the bleeding.

“Who was the man you made the deal with?” Cristian asks him as I work.

“I…I don't know!”

“You said he wasn't a cop, but how do you know if you never got his name?”

“He was too…shiny and slick. Cops have a certain look and feel to them. He acted like he was above them, and even the fed they brought in to lay trafficking charges against me deferred to him.”

I only half pay attention as I take care of his wound. The Bosses seem to have some sort of silent conversation before Cristian gets my attention. “How easily can you make him disappear?”

I shrug. “We have his stuff, so I just need someone to break into his phone and I can arrange for him to disappear for a bit. We'll have to come up with a creative way for him to die and be found, but we can manage.” I grimace. “I'll have to make my presence in society known, as I'm the last one to have seen him, but Rose and I can spin a few stories, so that nothing will come of it should the police come looking.”

“No, no, please! I'm too young to die!” Cor whimpers.

I roll my eyes, and he must get on Allesandro’s nerves too, as the Boss hits him across the face with the shears, making him bleed, but also knocking him out.Weakling.

“Are we keeping him alive or…?” I ask carefully.

“For now,” Cristian says. “He's cocky enough that apparently he'll just spill secrets without much effort on our part. And we can always torture him later, if we need something more specific, or to persuade him to remember stuff he's ‘forgotten’. Work with Hollis to give him, and yourself, a plausible story, so he can disappear.”

“Yes, sir.”

They dismiss me, and I eagerly pack up my things and follow James out of the room. That…did not go the way I expected it to, but there was still enough bloodshed and sheer dominating presence from Allesandro that my heart and cock are both pumping hard. I'm ready for a nice brutal fuck, the kind that only the man walking in front of me can give me.

I must make some type of needy noise as James stops walking just before we get to the front warehouse doors. He grabs my arm and pulls me roughly to him.Oh, yes fucking please.

Groaning, I sit down next to Cristian. “That was…quite the revelation. I do not like the sound of this, my friend. This appears to be more than the LEOs. If someone can command the feds…”

Cristian grunts in acknowledgment. “This situation is fucked up. Even throwing Hollis at it, and your Ghost, I worry we aren’t going to find who is behind it soon enough.”

Sighing, I can’t dismiss the worry, especially when it’s the same thought that keeps me up. “The most we can do is continue as we have been. Investigate and, unfortunately, react to whatever we can’t find early enough to stop.”

“This does not fill me with confidence, Amico Mio.” Cristian turns more toward me, pouring us another glass of amber liquid. I take it gratefully, needing something to take the edge off. “You have something else to tell me, don’t you?”

I shake my head in amusement, giving him a half smile. “We never can get anything over each other, can we?”

“It’s why we make such strong allies. E amici ancora più forti.” Cristian shrugs one shoulder as he stares at me.

“You are correct. I’ve spoken with Dr. Ranlen. While she is very…unhappy with me, she agrees we can move our Family back home. It’ll be difficult on Emilio, and she’d like to borrow a ride in an ambulance, but I think he’ll feel more comfortable at home.”
