Toby sucks in a sharp breath of air, his eyes widening in surprise. “You did?”
I nod, and Toby rolls off with a laugh. He flops to the bed next to me, his arms resting above his head. We both stare up at the ceiling, lying there in shock with sticky, cum-filled boxers.
What the fuck did we just do?
I thought it might be awkward hanging out around our roommates after we kissed, but I’m glad I was wrong. Jake and Spencer came home later that afternoon, and I offered to make everyone dinner if they were up for steaks, baked potatoes, and salad. After we all pitch in and help clean up, we decide to spend our night at home watching a movie.
“Oh man, I’m so full,” Jake whines, holding his stomach and plopping down on the couch. “That was delicious, bro. Thanks.”
I grunt, stretching out on the love seat with my legs hanging off and holding my arms out for Toby to come lie on me. He glances over at Jake and Spencer sprawled out on the couch, then back at me hesitantly. I know he’s unsure how far to take things in front of our friends, but he can just follow my lead.
Nodding in reassurance, I reach out and grab his hand, tugging him down. Toby lies on top of me, settling between my slightly spread thighs. With his hands on my chest, he leans forward and kisses me in front of our friends. I tilt my head, kissing him back, and making sure I keep my hands on his back instead of wandering down to his ass where I want them to be.
“Shit.Maybe I’m gay, too, ’cause that’s kinda hot,” Jake says, instantly making us pull apart.
“Maybe the whole house is gay, ’cause I concur,” Spencer adds.
I grab the pillow from behind my head and throw it at him. “Not gay,” I grunt.
Jake snorts in disbelief, and I narrow my eyes at him before helping Toby off of me and sitting up straight. “I’m not gay,” I repeat, and I can practically feel Toby shrink in on himself.Ineed to fix that.“I . . . I think I’m bi. I’m still attracted to girls, but the only person I like is Toby. And he’s a guy.”
That felt really weird to say out loud. But also good.
“Yeah?” Toby whispers, his amber eyes sparkling with concern. He reaches over and rubs my thigh reassuringly.
“Yeah,” I confirm.
“That’s awesome, dude,” Spencer says with a smile I know he means.
“In all seriousness, bro. You really do seem happier ever since y’all have started going on your bro dates.”
“Mhm,” Spencer hums, agreeing with Jake’s observation.
“Thanks, guys,” I mumble, uncomfortable with all of the attention. I wrap an arm around Toby’s shoulder, pulling him into me and hugging him tight. “I think we need a real date now,” I whisper into his ear, nipping at it while Spencer puts on one of his favorite superhero movies.
Toby shivers in my arms, so I grab the soft throw from the back of the couch and lie down with Toby in front of me. I drape the blanket over us, hiding my wandering hands as they explore his body before landing on his perfect ass. I lean forward, nuzzling my nose into his curls and breathing deeply.
“Are you smelling me?” he whispers, trying to keep his voice low so our friends don’t hear.
“Mhm,” I hum into his ear, breathing him in again.
“Why?”
“’Cause you smell good. Like honeysuckle and sunshine.Like home.”
“Shane,” he whimpers. “You can’t just say stuff like that.I want you.”
“Shh.Just watch the movie,” I tell him, wrapping an arm around his torso and settling my hand over his heart.
“No jerking off under that blanket!” Jake suddenly shouts like a jackass.
“Oh, fuck off,” I grumble, and Toby just chuckles. “You think that’s funny?” I murmur, going in for a tickle.
“Don’t you dare!” he warns, and I make my move, tickling his sides and under his armpits. “Ahh! No!” he cries, laughing hysterically and tipping over sideways. He thumps to the ground like a sack of potatoes and rattles the coffee table.
“Shit!” I curse, slipping to the floor next to him. “You okay?” I ask, cradling his face between my palms.
“Ouch,” he laughs. “My butt.”
