His gropey hands slide down Ren’s bare waist, gripping his hips and turning them this way and that as he instructs him how to maneuver on the board.

When he steps behind Ren, pressing his groin to Ren’s ass, I’ve had enough.

Fuck that.

He’s manhandling him, and no one manhandles Ren except me.

An unfamiliar, jealous rage bubbles up like a geyser ready to blow.

Before I realize what I’m doing, I stomp across the sand, grab Dex’s wrist, and shove it away harshly. “Get your fucking hands off him, bro.”

I’m sick of people touching what’s mine.

Dex instantly holds both hands up, stepping away. “Oh, sorry, mate. Didn’t realize you two were together, or that you were even gay.”

“We’re not—I’mnot.”

Dex creases his brows but doesn’t contest my answer.

It’s none of his business.

“Just don’t get so fucking handsy,” I grumble.

Ren is beaming, like I passed some sort of secret test he set for me.

Dex glances between us, sensing the tension. “Look.I’m not trying to get in the middle of whatever’s going on here.” He checks his smartwatch suddenly. “I actually have an appointment in the city that I completely forgot about,” he says, grabbing his board. “Catch ya later, dudes.”

I sure hope not.

“Jealous much?” Ren asks with a satisfied edge to his voice when Dex disappears over the dunes.

“Shut up.The guy was pawing all over you.”

I’m starting to realize that Ren has some sort of universal sex appeal for girlsandguys.

“Was he?” Ren asks innocently. “I thought he was just being friendly.”

Is he trying to get a rise out of me?

I lean toward Ren’s face, whispering low so that he can barely hear me over the crashing waves behind us. “I’ll show you exactly howfriendlyI can be.”

CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE

WARREN

As soon as we make it back to the RV, Kyle shoves me against the dusty exterior, grabbing my throat and staring deep into my eyes. “Never flirt with another man in front of me again. I don’t like it.”

The possessive growl in his voice makes me want to obey. To surrender myself here and now, because watching Kyle stand up to Dex and claim me as his own was so fucking hot.

When I don’t reply right away, his hand tightens around my throat, and I whimper.

“Got it?” His voice is hard and so unlike him.

I nod frantically, and then he slams his lips to mine, tasting like sweat and desperation.

It’s cataclysmic.

A life-altering, soul-consuming tsunami destroying everything in its wake.
