“Oh fuuuck,” I groan, in heaven at the feel of his soft touch and his cock against my own. “Jerk us, baby.Please.”

Ander picks up the pace, our combined precum creating more than enough lube for a slick glide. “Goddess, I’m not going to last,” he grits out, the muscles in his thighs tensing up and preparing for release.

“It’s okay. Come for me, Ander.Come all over my cock.” At my filthy, breathless words, the prince’s body seizes up. Warm jets of cum spurt out of his dick and onto my own.

Holy shit, that’s hot.

Ander slumps into me, our cocks slipping free from his loosening grasp. I take over, jacking myself off with his cum. The wet squelches tip me over the edge, and my balls draw up, squeezing every last drop of cum out of me. I can’t control theloud grunts escaping my mouth as I paint Ander’s abdomen with my jizz.

“Damn,” I say in awe, panting heavily as I step out of my pants and underwear.

“I know,” Ander murmurs.

I use my boxers to wipe myself off while Ander does the same.

We stand here for a moment longer, our soft cocks grazing as we kiss tenderly for what feels like eternity. I finally pull back and gaze into his breathtaking eyes. “Goodnight, my prince,” I say, nothing but pure adoration lacing my tone.

I slip into my room and quietly shut the door behind me. Leaning my head back and closing my eyes, I can’t help the big, goofy grin splitting my cheeks. Even though we almost died tonight, and even though we might die in a couple weeks on that fucking Hunt, I haven’t been this happy in a long time.

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

SKYLER

“For the millionth time,no. We cannot take a break and make out in the back of the library. We need to learn everything we can. Knowledge is power, and the Hunt is right around the corner.” Ander’s tone is serious, his no-nonsense mode a complete turn-on. I’m about to throw him over my shoulder and stomp out of here like a caveman. It’s Friday night, and we’re at the freakinglibrary. After another long week of adjusting to a new world and attending classes, I’m left tired, hungry, and fuckinghorny.

“Ander. We’ve been reading about ghouls for the pasttwohours, and we’re no closer to figuring out how to exorcise them than when we started. We can afford to take a little break,” I reason, reaching across the table and shutting the old dusty book that he’s been staring at for the past thirty minutes. I can’t even read it because it’s written in some sort of ancient fairy language, and half the letters look like symbols. Runes, he calls them—like the ink that decorates a lot of their skin. I’m feeling useless right now and wishing I had never signed up for this stupid hunt in the first place.

Why would they have the sign-up form in a bar of all places?

That’s just asking for idiots like me to get themselves into some serious shit.

“A little break could mean the difference between life and death when we’re deep in the woods, Skyler. We’ll only have each other to depend on. We can take a break when we get back to the suite tonight and when we have our date tomorrow.” He glances up, his cheeks turning pink. “But right now, we need to focus and figure out how to expel a spirit if one were to possess us.” His thick lashes flutter across his cheekbones as he peers back down at the book, flipping to the page he was just on.

I shudder at the thought of becoming an unwilling host to an evil spirit. Ander’s right. We need to know how to get one out of us if worse comes to worst. I sigh, leaning back in my chair and skimming through the next book. We aren’t finding any answers in here that we haven’t already read in our textbooks.

“We should ask one of our professors. This is a waste of time,” I declare impatiently. My eyes scan the darkened library lined with rows and rows of tall, wooden shelves.

“And how do you figure we accomplish that without arousing suspicion?” Ander counters softly, his eyes continuing to scan the page in front of him.

“We’ll say it’s research for a paper or something.”

“You forget, Skyler.Fae can’t lie.”

“Well, luckily for us, that wasn’t one of the Fae traits passed down to me. I’m a great liar.” My smile is bright and teasing, and I throw in a wink to let him know I’m half-joking.

Professor Chastain chooses this moment to walk into the student library, heading toward the private rooms in the back. The perfect opportunity presents itself, and I act on it.

“Professor Chastain!” I holler, standing up and holding a hand high in the air.

“Shh!” the little old librarian scolds me.

“Over here, sir!” I whisper-shout, earning another glare from the librarian, but successfully diverting Professor Chastain’s path to our table.

“Well, hello there, lads. Studying on a Friday night, I see. How very ambitious of ye.”

“Just trying to get our homework over with so we can enjoy the weekend, sir. You know, be responsible and all that.”

Professor Chastain chuckles. “I like the way ye think. Is there somethin’ I can help ye with?” His eyes scan the books laid out across our table and the array of horrifying images that dot them. His brows crease, and I speak up, pulling his attention back to me.
