Liam:Day five without my fake fiancée. The struggle is real.
Audrey:I’m not your fake fiancée anymore.
Liam:I like to think that we’re still in some kind of pretend relationship because I haven’t seen you in so long.
Audrey: You sound dramatic.
Liam:Canyou blame me?
Audrey:I could, but I don’t have time to figure out how this might be your fault. What’s going on with the bookstore?
Liam:Hired an accountant. We’re still figuring out which one of the proposals we’ll be approving so they can start working on renewing this place ASAP. The new manager interview will be on hold until Dad can be here. The employees we’re hiring won’t start until the construction is complete, but they’ll be taking some training along with Mom.
Audrey:Seems like things are working out.
Liam:They are, and if this starts next week, I’ll be flying back home and get to be with my fake fiancée.
Audrey:Again, with the ridiculous title. You can call me your girlfriend.
Liam:What if we skip that and I call you my live-in girlfriend.
Audrey: Slow down, Cohen.
Liam:I have so many plans for us.
Audrey:Is that why you asked me how many vacation days I have this year?
Liam:Part of it and you haven’t responded yet.
Audrey:What are you going to use them for?
Liam:For starters, you should take leave when I get there—we’ll be busy in bed for at least five days. Making up for lost time.
Audrey:I just started with a new client, so we can’t do any of that but you can take advantage of my weekends, plus mornings and nights.
Liam:Fine, but send me the information. Also, what’s your ideal wedding?
Audrey:Beach. Sunset.
Liam: Fiji?
Audrey:It can be here in San Diego. Autumn at home since it’s so pretty and I can wear a red dress to match the foliage.
Liam: That sounds hot.
Audrey: You’re just horny.
Liam:You’re too hot not to be and I miss you a lot.
Audrey:Hey, Max wants to go to dinner. Talk to you later.
Liam:Call me when he’s sleeping.
Audrey:So he can bang on the door and say he can hear us? Nope. You’ll have to wait.
Liam:I hate my best friend.
Audrey: Which one?
