“Showoff! I’m going to be walking funny tomorrow, but, yes, I want more.”
The next round set a slower pace, ending with a series of hard, butt-smacking thrusts and cries of pleasure. When Orrin finally pulled out, a flood of jizz ran down Zak’s thighs, making an even bigger mess of the sheets. With no dry place to lie down, they were forced to get up, shower, and remake the bed before settling in for the night. Orrin snuggled closer for kisses and then asked Zak a question.
“So, how was it? Think you’d like to bottom again?”
Zak grinned, eyebrows arched.
“Fishing for compliments, Mister Crosby? That wasfantastic, if you must know, and you’re the best lover I’ve ever had. If you don’t drill me into the mattress on a regular basis, I’ll have to spank you. Does that answer your question?”
Orrin couldn’t help but laugh.
“I suppose it does, Doctor Hall, and I’d be happy to keep your prostate in fine working order. As for spanking, let’s just say I’ve never tried it and leave it at that.”
More kisses ensued before they set the alarm and turned out the light. Zak spooned up behind Orrin and whispered in his ear.
“I love you so much.”
“Love you, too, Zak. Always.”

Bear Creek City Hall, Thursday, February 27th
Carmen Perez looked up from her desk as the outer door opened, surprised to see Dash Hawthorn. He was no stranger here, but he hadn’t stopped by for months and wasn’t on the schedule.
“Good afternoon, Dash.”
“Hi, Carmen. I don’t have an appointment, but if she’s free, I’d like to have a word with her.”
Carmen got up to check with her boss.
“Certainly. I believe she has the next half-hour free, but let me confirm before I send you in.”
Carmen knocked once on the heavy oak door and went in. DeeDee’s nose and ears had already identified her unexpected visitor, and she held up her palm.
“No need, Carmen. Show him in, and give me a five-minute warning if our discussion happens to go long.”
Carmen nodded and backed out of the office, to be replaced by Dash a few seconds later. DeeDee could sense the man’s discouragement, though she had no idea what might have caused it. They scented one another and regrouped in the corner sitting area.
“It’s good to see you, Dash, and I’m sorry that I have nothing sweet to offer you. Is it business or something personal today?”
Dash appreciated the woman’s ‘get right to it’ style and launched into an explanation.
“Aiden and I are trying to hire a full-time housekeeper and have hit a wall. The few responses we’ve had weren’t qualified, and we wondered if you might know of someone.”
DeeDee’s face revealed nothing but mild curiosity.
“I might. Can you be more specific about the qualifications and duties?”
Dash pulled a copy of the job posting from his pocket and handed it over.
“We’re looking for an older female shifter to cook and clean five days a week, and who also has some experience working with children. You may not know, but we intend to adopt a couple of cubs, Griffin and Fort, who are both five and in Kindergarten this year. It’s not a live-in position and there are no weekends. We’re prepared to offer a generous salary, benefits, and paid time off.”
DeeDee rubbed her thumb and index finger together, eyes fixed on the floor—an indication that she was deep in thought. A few moments passed before she looked up.
“That may be a difficult position to fill, and I don’t know of anyone here in Bear Creek at present. Let me make a few calls and I’ll contact you when I have news. Allow me to offer congratulations on the boys. Are they from the Cub House?”
Dash nodded.
