Perfect for me.

Honestly, at this moment, I can’t believe out of all the guys she could have she’s laying here onmybed.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” She asks.

“Like what?”

She smiles, “Like your either about to fuck me senseless or murder me.”

“I’d never lay a finger on you that you didn’t want,” I mutter as I simultaneously drag a single finger across her bottom lip.

“I always want you to touch me,” she says breathlessly.

This woman.

I take my hands and unbutton her jeans, dragging the zipper down slowly with my fingers. Within seconds she's naked underneath me. “You drive me crazy, Quinn.”

“I don’t mean to,” she breathes. “But you make me crazy too. I’ve never wanted anyone as much as I want you.” She pulls her shirt over her head and quickly unsnaps her bra, letting it fall to the side.

I smile, her naked body trapped under me, caged in by my big arms. “You’re just saying that because you want my dick.”

She shakes her head, “No, Gavin. I’ve never felt like this before.”

“Are you scared?” I ask, my mind going back to her saying she wasn’t ready for a relationship, and then I feel like maybe she feels pressure because of my Instagram post.

“I should be,” she sighs. “But I’m not.”

“I know that I should let my break up with Grayson settle, but dammit Gavin, I like you.”

Her words hang between us for a moment and I can’t help but to take her lips right back against mine.

I like you too.

I more than like you.

chapter thirty-six

Quinn

Two weeks go by in a blur of studying and Gavin. I spent four straight days in Gavin’s room basically to the point of dorm room abandonment, which is why I promised Ava we could hang out tonight. No boys.

“Okay, so we’re going to a party,” she says. “And you’re wearing this and I’m wearing that.”

She points to a roll of duct tape on the bed and then to a roll of bubble wrap. I look at her like she’s lost her mind, “What the fuck do you mean?”

“It’s an ABC party,” she laughs but I still stare at her with confusion. “Omg, Quinn. Anything but clothes.”

I widen my eyes and look down at the options. “Yeah, no.”

She crosses her arms and pouts, “You promised, Quinny. Remember, you abandoned me for the entire week? I was afraid of that noise that happens through the night and you weren’t here.”

“It’s just the showers from upstairs, but I don’t wanna wear that.”

She rolls her eyes, “Well you can’t wear clothes. You got a better idea?”

I look around the dorm, “Not really.”

She picks the duct tape up off her bed, “Just trust me.”
