“Huh.” Tay hadn’t considered the possibility of that.

“Don’t worry,” Guilia said with a laugh, “I will always ensure that you come, mi tesore.”

That should have relieved them somewhat, but it wasn’t about that. It was about learning Guilia, learning what she did and didn’t want. “Are you partly stone? Is that it?”

“Am I a stone top?” Guilia looked thoughtful. “No, I don’t think that’s it. I loved sitting on your face yesterday, and most stone tops I know don’t really want reciprocation and to orgasm in that kind of way. But I do think that as your Daddy, I get more pleasure out of seeing you come your brains out, than I do from having an orgasm. Orgasms are great, but they’re not everything to me.”

Tay was very orgasm-focused, so it seemed an alien concept to them, but they could understand what Guilia was saying. “It was…” They gave a deep sigh. “I keep saying how amazing and awesome everything is, but that doesn’t really capture what sex like that means to me. It feels bone-deep. Like my very soul is being dragged to the edge of heaven and back. Andthe blindfold…”

“I did notice that you enjoyed the blindfold.”

Tay stared into Guilia’s eyes, unblinking, determined to emphasize this point. “The blindfold was thefucking best. I didn’t have to think; I couldn’t be distracted… that really was amazing.”

Guilia laughed, and Tay leaned in impetuously to kiss her. This version of Chef Guilia was all theirs. Funny, teasing, vulnerable.

Her lips parted and she deepened the kiss, pulling Tay even closer, tucking their legs up so that they fitted together like two pieces in Tetris.

Tay closed their eyes and lost themself in the kiss. Their whole body was humming, and their clit was still throbbing—which they weren’t used to. Guilia nudged between their legs and Tay flinched away. “Too sensitive, Daddy.”

“Oh, tesore, I’m sorry.” She kissed Tay again. “Did you come too hard?”

“Not too hard,” said Tay, “never too hard. And it was hot. I liked the begging.”

“I liked the begging too,” said Guilia, and then paused.

“What?”

“I didn’t like hearing you say that you didn’t deserve it. I don’t mind us exploring a bit of humiliation play, if that’s your thing—I’ll even call you my precious slut if you’re that way inclined—but never say that you don’t deserve this.” She was fierce now, fiercely protective the way that Tay had wished their parents had been. “You deserve the world.”

Tay gave an awkward chuckle. “Right.”

“Say it.”

“What?”

“You heard me, tesore. Say it.”

“I deserve the world.” Tay didn’t even try for convincing. Part of that was because they were enjoying this side of Guilia, and part—a very small, tiny part—was because they weren’t entirely certain that they believed it themself.

Guilia looked less than impressed. “That was a whisper. No. Again.”

“I deserve the world.” But the more they said it, the less Tay believed it. It was as if the words were shoveling deep into their soul and laying it bare to the world.

Laying it bare to Guilia.

“Tesore, what’s the matter?”

“Everyone says that you should love yourself first and everyone else next, but that’s hard. Especially when…” Tay’s voice trailed off. They didn’t like to use their family’s reaction to their coming out as a crutch, but when tears welled in their eyes, they realized that perhaps it had affected them more than they’d ever cared to admit.

Guilia pulled them into her arms, and they both lay there quietly for a few moments while Tay tried to pull themself together.

“I’ve worked hard to build a home for myself here and make myself useful. I contribute to the wider community, and that makes me feel better about myself.”

There was a sadness in Guilia’s eyes that Tay wanted to flinch away from. Hearing their own thoughts out loud was illuminating, for sure, and goodness what effect it was having on their Daddy.

“You are deserving of happiness and joy because you exist,” Guilia said. “You have inherent worth—we all do, whether to not we contribute to society. Mi tesore.” She cupped Tay’s face in her hands and kissed them.

Tay kissed them back and tried to ignore the pit in their stomach that didn’t know how to react to such emotions.
