Conclusion
The news had been givento Bane, Bastian and the VIM.The whole group except a few, all headed out to the Gulf Coast, via private jet.
“The only thing she said was that Drake Trac told her the mercenary army would be arriving today at the port on the coast,” Bastian told Bane.“We don’t know how large it is or any other details.Mr.Black was in charge of it.”
“I have a hundred men showing up for this,” Pappy stated.
“As do I,” Frank added.
Bane slowly shook his head.“So much for hiding this from the Feds.”He looked over at Shay.“If this goes to battle, we will have all the alphabets here.”
“It might also catch innocent civilians in the crossfire,” Frank added.
“Yep and that won’t be good,” Bastian said.“But if we handle it right, we might get lucky.”
“As in...just blow the boat up before it docks?”Orrin asked as he rubbed his hands together in excitement.
James looked over at him.“More innocent people might die that way.”
Orrin grumbled, “Always with the excuses just so I don’t get to have any booms.”
“He’s getting withdrawals, I think?”James shrugged as he shook his head.“Haven’t you had enough excitement by dying three times already?”He grinned at Orrin.
Orrin shook his head.“Look, that joke is getting old, James.”
Bastian scoffed.“Can we get back on topic?I got an idea this morning.”
“He’s good with his morning coffee,” James joked.“He discovers solutions to world issues with that first cup before most people even get out of bed.”
Bastain shook his head and said, “Thanks for that observation, James.”He looked around at the men he had here with him.“Mr.Black is in the wind and we are unaware if Mr.Red is alive. We don’t know what we will find today when we get to the harbor.I say we watch and then follow them.Instead of attacking.”He looked around at them.
“I see,” Shay said.“That would prevent a battle from happening so publicly.”
“Exactly,” Bastian said.
“We could find the two other horsemen wherever this army goes.”Bane nodded.
Pappy agreed.“So I will call my men to stand down until we have new orders.”
“Mine too,” Frank said.
