“We will be at the tunnel entrance in...”Faith paused as she grabbed Sheba’s hand.
Ari stepped in and wrapped her arms around Sheba.
Faith looked over at the two men.
Dante took her hand.
Grisha let out a defeated sounding sigh and wrapped his arms around Dante.
“Cute!”Sheba giggled.
“Less than a minute,” Faith finished speaking into the comm.
Then they were gone.
“Wow!”Sheba exclaimed.“I’m fucking dizzy!”
“Me too,” Ari added.“What a trip!”
Faith reached up and tapped her comm.“We have arrived.”Then she produced a small flashlight as it was absolutely pitch dark where they all stood.
The men stood there looking almost like statues.Grisha had his eyes squeezed shut.He kept a hold of Dante.
“You are good now,” Faith told the men.
Dante laughed.“Damn.”
Grisha opened one eye then the other.“Svyataya mat'...”Holy mother of...He then let go of the man he’d taken the trip with.
“Ok, step back,” Faith told them.“Maybe ten feet back.
Sheba and Ari instantly rushed back.
The men did so as well.
Raising her hands, Faith, stood in front of the closed up wall.
From behind her, the group couldn't see much, then suddenly there was a small explosion. They all covered their heads as small bits of pebbled rock rained down on them.Smoke bellowed out and for a minute or two, they couldn't see anything.
Dante grew concerned and he rushed forward.“Faith!”
“Yes?”
They all stopped and turned around.
Faith was pinned up against or actually into the wall, where the entrance was to the outside.
“Oh, fuck...”Dante ran back to her past the group.Halting with a slide on the gravelly floor, he asked her.”Are you okay?”
“Yes, I am fine.”
“B-but Faith you are in the wall.Like your body made an impression...It...”he ran out of words.
Faith sighed.“I just need a second or two.”
He reached out to her.
“NO!”she exclaimed.“Do not touch me.”
