“Young lady, we may have to employ explosives,” Grisha said.“And that is my job.”

Faith stared at him.“Grisha, is it?”

He nodded at her.

“I don’t mean to kick you out of your job, but you only need me.”

He narrowed his eyes at her.

Viktor saw the tension brewing, so he stated, “Grisha, it will be your job to get her there.”

“No worries,” Faith said.“I will get him there.”

Grisha stared at her as he slowly shook his head.

“We want to go in with you, Faith,” Sheba spoke up.

Faith smiled, “ and there’s no one I would rather have at my side,” Faith replied. Then she looked over at Dante.“And I mean you as well, Dante.”

He just smiled at her.

Next, a full tactical-planning meeting took place.Looking over the blueprints and discussing where to park their vehicles along with what teams would be where. Then they all talked about these unknown assassins. All they could do was speculate about them or if they were like Faith. They did not know anything about them.

One thing they all did know. This would be a full out battle and to the death most likely.

A half hour later, they were parking two blocks away from the Placard Building and getting out of their vehicles.

Faith stood on the asphalt. She motioned to Sheba and Ari.

The two women came over.

“Hold onto each other when we go.”Faith glanced at Dante.“You need to hang onto me.”She looked around to see Grisha.“If you are coming, you and Dante will have to get up close and personal.”

Dante and Grisha stared at each other then back at her.

Sheba actually laughed.“Oh boys, it be gettin’ strange up in here.”

“Yeah, up close and personal.”Ari gave them her best wicked wink.

Faith chuckled at them and shook her head.“If you do not hang on to each other as Dante will be holding my hand...”She paused.“Well, I’m not sure what will happen. It might be like bailing out of a car going 80 on the freeway?”

“Chto?”Grisha asked.“What are you talking about?”

“Let me show you, then I think you might understand.”Faith grabbed Sheba up.“Hold on.”Then there was a whooshing sound.

Grisha and Dante blinked hard then looked around as they had both disappeared.

“You-hoo,” Sheba called.

They turned their heads to look over across the parking lot.

Sheba waved at them as she had her arm around Faith’s waist. Then suddenly, both women were again in front of them.

“The fuck?”Grisha looked spooked.

Faith nodded.“So hang on tight, both of you.”

“We’re ready,” Sheba spoke into the comm.
