“Is that coffee?” I grumble.

He raises one brow. “Yeah. Brought her some.”

“And where the hell’s mine?”

Arrow shrugs. “You don’t suck dick as good as she does.”

Gidge cackles, straight-up chokes on air, and grabs the mug from him before I can throw a pillow across the room.

“He’s not wrong,” she says, snorting as she takes a long sip.

“Traitor,” I mutter, glaring.

“Mmmm,” she hums, eyes fluttering shut for a second. “I knew there was a reason I loved you.”

Arrow freezes. Likefreezesfreezes. His whole face changes, that cocky smirk wiped clean in a blink.

“What?” she asks, tilting her head.

“You’ve never said you loved me before,” he says, voice suddenly way too soft for a man who just made a blowjob joke.

“I haven’t?”

“Nope.”

She shrugs and smiles. “Well, surprise.”

Arrow lets out a laugh and leans down, catching her mouth with his. He doesn’t kiss her softly; nah, he goes straight for it, sucking on her tongue like he’s claiming every damn inch of her right there in front of me.

“I love you too,” he mutters against her lips.

I roll my eyes. “Can y’all save the mushy shit ‘til after I’ve had caffeine?”

Brydgett flips me off without looking.

Arrow grins against her mouth.

And I gotta admit, even through the roasting and chaos, something about this feels damn right.

Arrow finally stops sucking face with Gidge long enough to sit his smug ass down on the edge of my bed.

“We need to talk about Marcus,” he says, like he’s easing into it, but I know that tone. He’s not gonna let it drop.

Brydgett growls low in her throat, the sound more feral than annoyed. “Do wehaveto?”

“Yes,” he says. “He was your friend. Now, he’s apparently your brother. And yeah, he should’ve told you, but he also saved you. He cares about you, Gidge. He fucked up, but you can’t cut him out forever.”

I can see the fight still flickering behind her eyes, but she’s listening.

Arrow takes a sip from his mug. “Plus, we were thinking about asking him to join The Renegades.”

Brydgett’s whole face scrunches like she just bit into a lemon. “Fucking traitors.”

“Sexy fucking traitors,” Arrow grins, the asshole.

I snort.

She narrows her eyes at both of us but groans. “Fine. I’ll call him today and ask him to come talk.”
