When Angus woke up with Del in his bed, he wished he could stay there the entire day.After the auction last night, he felt he deserved it, but unfortunately, their team already had plans.There was a meeting in Cam’s office in an hour, and Angus needed to be there.
He didn’t want to talk about the auction, but there was no way out of it, even though anyone could see the video of what had happened.Besides, Angus wanted to check in on Tyler, who’d been through a lot and no doubt didn’t trust anyone, especially not Ryland.It would take him a while to realize they truly had no intention of hurting him or even keeping him in Rosewood, but in the meantime, Angus wanted him to see a friendly face.Tyler had believed Angus was an auctioned shifter like himself, so maybe, he’d trust him.
“Good morning,” Del said, smiling from his side of the bed.
Angus snuggled against him.“Good morning.”
“Is it already time to get up?”
“Unfortunately, at least if we both want a shower.The meeting is in an hour.”
Del sighed and kissed Angus’s forehead.“I want to check in on my father, but if I didn’t, I’d stay in bed with you the entire day.”
His words made Angus smile, since he’d been thinking the same seconds ago.He kissed Del’s chest, then sat up.“I get the first shower.”
