My speed along his cock picks up, and the hand in my hair tightens a bit. His hips begin to jerk along with me, pumping his cock in and out of my mouth while I focus on sucking him hard. His breathing catches the same moment his hips jerk forward.

He comes, and he fills my mouth with warm, delicious cum. Squirt after squirt, and I gobble it up like I’ve never tasted anything better.

Only when he’s finished does he pull out of me, and I tilt my head back and look up at him as I lick my lips and catch any that might’ve leaked out of the corners of my mouth.

Colter offers his hand to me, and once I grab it, he helps me back onto my feet, his other arm curling around my lower back and holding me tightly against him. His head bends, his forehead leaning against mine. He’s still breathing quite hard, and by the look he gives me, I can tell he doesn’t want me to go back to my room tonight.

And you know what? I don’t want that, either.

Funny how I can accept something with a beta much easier than an alpha.

We end up going to his room after that, and though we mess around a bit more, we don’t have sex. He leaves the light off, too, so we do it all in the dark. I don’t mind. Let’s just say alphas aren’t the only ones with stamina; betas apparently can hold their own, too.

I don’t know when sleep takes me, but it eventually does, and I fall into a dreamless sleep while nestled against Colter’s chest.

Morning comes, and I’m half-expecting to be woken up by a hard rod prodding me from behind, but as I come to, I realize Colter isn’t in bed anymore. He must’ve gotten up before me and didn’t wake me, much like I did to Pax and Gideon, so I can’t even be mad about it.

After yawning and stretching, I shuffle to my room and find the two alphas are gone. I grab some fresh clothes, stuff my slick-ridden panties beneath my bed out of habit, and go to shower. I make sure to brush my teeth really well, too. Mouthwash, flossing, the works.

My hair is still wet when I venture downstairs in search of breakfast, and to my surprise, I find everyone in the kitchen. Nobody’s looking at each other, though. Pax’s blond head is down, his tall frame bent as he nurses a cup of coffee on the island, while Gideon waits near the toaster. Colter is in the midst of pouring out what looks like his second bowl of cereal.

The moment I appear, though, every set of eyes in the kitchen lands on me. Pax. Gideon. Even Colter. They all watch me like they’re unsure if last night really happened, like maybe they dreamed about it and they are trying really, really hard not to wear their lust for me on their faces.

“Um, morning?” It comes out more like a question than anything else, and I inwardly cringe at how I’m only making it worse.

Gideon coughs, while Pax lifts his nose and inhales—I did what he said. After my shower, I didn’t apply any of that cream, so my scent is on full-blast for them. It’s only when I’m about to poke my head in the refrigerator that I see Gideon’s nose upturned, too. Both alphas in the kitchen can’t help but smell the air when I’m around, I guess.

Colter stirs the cereal he just added to his bowl and leftover milk. He must be taking it upstairs to his studio, but before he goes, he sets his bowl down and signs something to Gideon. He comes over to me, places a gentle kiss on my cheek in plain view of both alphas, and then grabs his bowl and wanders off.

Pax’s brow furrows, and his mouth curls into a handsome frown. “What’d he say?”

Gideon’s toast pops out of the toaster, but he doesn’t go for it right away. He mutters, “He said—he said stop being weird about it.”

I smile to myself as I grab the orange juice out of the fridge and get myself a glass.

“Weird?” Pax echoes. “What a punk.”

“Who you calling a punk?” Gideon’s always ready to throw down to defend his nephew’s honor, apparently.

Before Pax can reply, a laugh bubbles its way up my throat, and once that laugh comes out, more follows, until I’m lost in deep laughter. It takes me way too long to turn toward both alphas and say, “Stop. Don’t act like you’re both not on the same page, because as I recall, last night, you two were pretty in sync.”

“Yeah?” Pax shoots back, sounding grumpy. “So were you, in case you forgot.”

As he butters his toast, Gideon says, “Pax is right. We were all in sync, as you say.” He’s slow to set down the knife in the butterand look at me. Behind his glasses, his deep blue eyes twinkle. “Was it… did you like it? Are you all right?”

Both alphas stare at me, waiting.

I could say a lot of things. I could tell them a lie, tell them that no, I didn’t like any of it, that I was in some kind of weird hormonal, pre-heat thing. Make something up. Try to remind us all that I don’t like alphas.

But the retort in the shape of a lie can’t even form inside my head, and I’m not quite ready to admit the truth out loud, so all I say is, “I’m going to take my orange juice outside.” And then I pour said orange juice, put the carton back in the fridge, grab my glass, and promptly leave the kitchen and the two alphas therein.

I can’t tell them that I liked it. I sure as hell can’t tell them that I’m surprisingly fine after it. For a girl who was damn near ready to go all the way with not one but two alphas, I was doing really well, especially considering I always swore up and down that I hated being an omega, hated every possible future prospect, and hated everything alphas stood for.

Smug. Superior. Thought they always knew better. I mean, who needs them? Not me.

But, as I slip out back and take a seat on one of the wicker chairs, even I know that’s a ridiculous statement. Somewhere along the way, things changed… and that scares me more than anything ever has.
