Diary Entry
On The Battlefield
Somewhere In Scotland
Spring 1594
‘My knight,
How do I tell you how much I miss your body in my bed, and your arms around me? The words are never enough, and I can’t wait until we are together. Each moment with you frees me, and gives me all the life I need.
Truly, though, I’m sorry that you’ll have to leave your wife, but my soul knows we are meant to be. I believe, my Lord, that your soul knows the same thing.
From the minute I saw you, I felt this feeling in my body that was unquenchable.
It only tells me one thing.
That our passion is endless. It will traverse time, and it will live on long after our deaths.
That’s my vow to you. Even in the afterlife, I will forever be yours, and love you more than my own life. With each breath I take, it is for you.
For your honor.
For your heart.
For your love.
When I see you across the room, Each time I am hit with so many desires. My body reacts, and I can’t forget about our lovemaking.
I can’t forget about how you stared into my eyes, and tell me how much you love me.
I feel the same, Duncan, and I promise to always be yours.
No matter what.
We’ll be together soon.
Until then, dream about me, because I will forever dream about you.
You own my loyalty and heart as we fight on to find our peace.
Forever yours,
C.’

‘My Dearest Duncan,
My heart beats whenever I see you, my Lord. It’s that look in your eyes, or that truly wicked grin of yours. It makes me weak.
And I’m not ashamed of that either.
