She sighs softly. “I won’t be late, I promise.”
I heard upstairs to get dressed, and by the time I come back, Kieran has her bent over the kitchen island. Beau has his cock in his hand as Kieran finger fucks her. What a goddamn sight!
I take one last look at them before shouting. “Heading to the gym. Don’t be late.”
“I won’t,” she gasps.
I wink at her and walk out the door as she moans. Whatever Kieran is doing to her, he’s doing it right.
I smile all the way home, fighting my own goddamn erection.
I pull out my phone, scroll to her contact, and hit call.
She picks up almost immediately. “Hey,” her voice sounds soft, still a little groggy, but I like it.
“I’m here,” I tell her, grinning. “Come on down, sunshine.”
“Okay, give me a sec.”
I lean against the car, looking up at the apartment building as I wait. I can feel the heat of Miami already creeping into the air.
My hands are a little sweaty, but that’s nothing new. Not when I’m thinking about her.
A few minutes later, the door swings open, and she steps out. Daisy’s wearing a sundress.
It’s simple, but damn, does it fit her perfectly.
She smiles when she sees me, and my stomach does this stupid little flip. I can’t help it. She walks down the stairs, her steps light, and I meet her halfway, pulling her into a kiss.
“You look amazing,” I say against her lips, feeling her smile as I kiss her deeper.
She pulls away, eyes sparkling, and nods. “Ready.”
“You sure?” I ask. She looks a little nervous. A little too nervous for my liking.
She exhales, and I can see her trying to calm herself down. “Yeah,” she says, biting her bottom lip. “I’m just nervous. I haven’t really… met anyone’s mom like this before.”
I nod, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “My mom’s a sweetheart. You’ll be fine. Trust me.”
She doesn’t look entirely convinced, but she nods anyway. “Okay. I trust you.”
I give her a grin and open the door. “Let’s go, then.”
The place we’re going is exclusive, and I mean exclusive. I’ve been here a million times, but even I can’t help but appreciate the upscale vibe every damn time.
The soft jazz playing in the background, the crisp white linens on every table, the low hum of conversations. Miami at its finest. It’s fancy, but not so stuffy that you can’t breathe. I like it.
When we walk in, my mom’s already sitting there, sipping on a mimosa, and she’s beaming when she sees me. God, I love her.
“Mason!” She stands up, arms open for a hug. I walk over and wrap her up in a tight one, kissing her cheek.
“Hey, Mom,” I say, smiling back at her.
She pulls away, looking at Daisy now. “And who is this?”
I grin, slipping my arm around Daisy’s waist. “This is Daisy Love. She’s a reporter for theMiami Herald… and my girlfriend.”
I watch Daisy’s face closely. She’s taken aback for a second, but then she just smiles, all professional and calm as hell, and shakes my mom’s hand. “Nice to meet you,” she says politely.
