@kash_money:if I meant hot, I would have said hot
@spinn_doctor:you did, on our group chat
@brentmann:dibs on the milf
@skyediva:wait, @spinn_doctor and @kash_money have a group chat?
We tossed around how we might engineer a chance meeting with the Vales. Since Akash refused to introduce us, we suggested congregating en masse at his house, hoping to at least catch a glimpse of them. He strictly nixed the idea, claiming that his parents still suspected him of dealing drugs and that they’d been running a borderline surveillance state ever since he’d received his devices back.
We grew resentful. We suspected Akash of playing favorites. When we heard that Meeks, Spinnaker, and Kaitlyn Courtland had been invited over for a game night, had actually been midargument about the relative powers of ogres versus giants when a voice at the back door announced a paint-splattered Lucy Vale, out of the blue, live and in need of maskingtape, we seriously regretted not getting into D&D, or at minimum Catan. It was nepotism; the gamers were cashing in on their friendship with Akash to unfair advantage, and there was nothing we could do about it.
It took forever to learn D&D.
After days of debate, we decided that the only reasonable thing was to throw a party. The problem was that (a) we had no idea how because (b) we weren’t allowed to have parties, although granted (c) we’d never asked our parents because (d) we were usually too busy on Discord or Tumblr or Twitch.
Then Peyton Neely noticed that Olivia Howard and Lucy were mutuals on Instagram. Layla Lewis confirmed that Olivia had helped Lucy pick out a cat gym at PetSmart, and since then they’d been exchanging cute animal memes.
Also: Olivia was open to the idea of throwing a party and was sure her parents would be cool about it.
@mememeup:don’t her parents have like a commune or something?
@lululemonaide:No
@lululemonaide:It isNota commune
@lululemonaide:Think of it like a family farm/farmstore
@lululemonaide:But there are a bunch of families who live there
@lululemonaide:And run/own the whole thing together
@ktcakes888:um . . .
@ktcakes888:how is that different from a commune ...??
@lululemonaide:because they don’t have like a creepy leader
@lululemonaide:And practice weird rituals
@lululemonaide:And like sacrifice animals to alien lizard gods
@lululemonaide:Or have sex with cows
@gustagusta:that’s a cult
@gustagusta:Are you thinking of a cult?
@lululemonaide:omgYessorry
@lululemonaide:Hahaha
