I hadn’t bottomed in over a year, and the magnitude of his steel-hard dick ripped through me with a destructive force. I attempted to scurry back, if only to dislodge a few inches of him. He clamped his hands around my shoulders, effectively holding me in place. Giving me no option but to take the fucking as he saw fit. “Max, shit. God!” Saliva pooled at the corners of my mouth. Max altered his angle, pistoning against my gland. “Fuck! Yes...yes...yeah, baby, right there. You fuck me so good.”

“The best piece of ass I’ve ever had,” he said, panting and curling over me, bringing us nose to nose.

“Enjoy it...while you can,” I said, taking every thrust he dished out, meeting him blow for blow. “Because this ends...with my hot cum filling your ass.” My balls drew tight, and I gripped the base of my cock to stave off the impending orgasm.

“So close, Ash.” Pink-faced and glassy-eyed, he looked so vulnerable and lost to the moment.

A bead of his sweat hit my lip. I licked it away; the salt striking my tongue brought out the beast in me. I kissed him like the world was coming to an end, sucking and biting at his lips, then flipped him over, positioning him roughly to hands and knees, then rolling myself on top of him. My leaky cock found his hole, and I sank home. He gave a hoarse shout, coming instantly, raining onto the mat. I ground into his ass, circling my hips until my semen raced through me in streams, filling and spilling from my insides. I shuddered from the strength of it, willing it to never stop, cupping my palm under his testicles to catch my spillage. I had plans for it.

I jarred out of the fantasy, coming back to my lonely bedroom with my heels digging into the mattress and my ass clenched, sealing my fingers inside of me, my palm rapidly swallowing my dick as cum shot all over the sheets and my chest.Fuck.I lay panting, running a shaky palm down my sweat-slicked face, which added my jizz to the mix. I licked my lips. The illusion of us on that mat felt so real; I swore I could smell Max on my sheets. Breathing hard, drenched in my own cum and perspiration, I tried to get my bearings. The room was dark, empty, and my cell phone told me there were still hours to go until my work shift began. “Shit.”

I fetched a towel to clean off the mess I’d made, then sighed, heading for the pool.

ILEFTthe hospital and went straight to the clinic to work a shift. Being there never felt like work, and if I could, I’d be there full-time, but my role at the hospital enabled me to network and advocate for the clinic.

Trish was my last patient for the day, and she was doing what she did best. Giving me a hard time.

“Ugh, do I have to, Dr. Jackson? They make me belch this stupid crazy fish smell. I hate it.”

“We’ve been over this before, Trish. Omega-3 acids help prevent preterm labor and delivery and—”

“And may increase the birth weight and blah, blah, blah. I got it, Dr. J, but they make me sick.” Her face slackened as she exaggerated a dry heave, and even that was endearing.

I closed her chart and pulled my script pad and pen from my lab coat pocket. “I’ll give you a prescription for digestive enzymes. Be sure to take themwiththe omegas and also eat before taking both. If that doesn’t help, we’ll try something else. Deal?”

“Fine.” She fell silent, always a sign that there was more.

“You know stress isn’t good for you or the baby, right?”

“I know.” She was such a tiny thing but carried a tremendous amount of strength. Her story was a bit different from most of the other girls. She came from a loving home, an influential family. When they’d made her choose between keeping her child or her cushy, promising life, she walked out with nowhere to go and no looking back.

“So tell me what’s got you looking like your cat died.”

She gagged again. “I hate cats.”

I waited her out.

“Camilla got her baby back.”

“That’s great news.” I’d made some calls on Camila’s behalf. I was happy to hear things had worked out.

Trish lowered her voice. “She’s been staying with me.”

That instantly triggered my worry for Trish. “You know that’s not allowed. You could be putting yourself in jeopardy.” Much like my medical care ended after delivery, so did housing. Per the rules, only the lease holder could live in the apartment. I tried my best to keep up with the girls post-delivery, but many of them would be on their own feet by then, some moving on to other programs. I wanted to do more, but I was already spread thin with my job at the hospital.

“She’s my friend. She was so nice to me when we met. She led me here to the clinic. I couldn’t not help her. Besides, she found a job. I watched the baby so she could interview. Good money, she’ll get a place soon.”

I nodded, already planning to do what I could to assist. I squeezed her hand before helping her down from the examination table. “Get changed. I’ll leave the prescription up front with Noelle.”

I pulled the curtain away to find Max sitting in a waiting chair a few feet away. From the soft smile he sported, I assumed he’d heard my conversation with Trish. “What are you doing here?” The best unexpected surprise.

He stood. “Figured I’d pop in on you for a change. You did say I could stop by anytime.” He pushed his hair off his forehead, something I was beginning to associate with him being nervous.

“I did, and I’d never turn down an opportunity to see you.” Hopefully, that sounded friendly. He scratched at his nape, turning his gaze to the front door. “How about I give you a tour and then we head back to my place? Have some wine—or beer—and chat.” I fully expected him to decline.

“Sounds great. I, ah...I’ve got Pluto in the truck, though.”

“The more the merrier.”
