I snorted at the thought of some fashionably dressed executives sneaking down to the private studios for a nooner.

“At least your studio has a lock.”

“It’s not currently locked.” The casualness with which he made this observation made me think he was joking, but I threw a lazy look over his shoulder anyway.

“Holy fuck, how long has that been unlocked?” I scrambled off him, ineffectually trying to cover my nakedness at the same time as grabbing my clothes, and tossing his at him, all while he laughed his ass off and made no move to put anything on, although he did put his dick back in his jeans.

“Probably since you came in and forgot to lock it behind you.” He smirked.

“Good grief!” I hastily pulled my trousers back up my legs, and reached for my shirt. “And you didn’t think to mention that?”

“I was distracted.”

Just like he was distracted now, I noted, as he watched me with clear amusement on his stunning face.

“Caveman,” I accused.

“Can I help it if a beautiful woman crawls into my lap?” He raised an eyebrow at me as I tried to button my shirt up, but discovered my torn buttons and had to give it up as a bad job.

“You can wear my hoodie,” he offered.

“I might as well put ‘Jihoon’s girlfriend’ on this,” I waved the lanyard at him.

“Hmm,” he grumbled, a satisfied smirk curling his lips. “I like the idea of marking you.”

I rolled my eyes, but I couldn’t deny the trickle of warmth in my chest. “So possessive.”

“Only over the things that belong to me.” His eyes were roaming over my body. The heat in his eyes was still simmering, despite what we’d done only recently.

I tried to ignore the embers of desire still warming my skin. “My jacket will cover them up, it’s fine.”

“I’d apologise, but I’m not sorry.”

“And I’d care, except I don’t.” I smirked right back at him.

I was less frantic now that I was decent again, although I’d have to straighten myself up before we actually left this room. I watched as Jihoon stood and finally began to pull the rest of his clothes on. I would never get bored of the sight of this man doing… well, anything. Much as I preferred to watch him take his clothes off, getting dressed was also oddly erotic, and I couldn’t help the small sigh of appreciation that escaped me.

“Are you all done now, or do you have more to do?” I asked. “I can wait-”

“I only came in today to be here with you,” he stated. “I’m done when you’re done.”

My cheeks warmed in a pleasant, tingly sort of way. This man.

“Well then. Lunch?”

I watched the shadows creep across his face as a small smile tugged at his lips. He took a few steps towards me, but it was more like a prowl.

“I could eat.”

I shivered for all sorts of reasons, and none of them to do with the temperature.

This man.

Chapter 26

December 23rd

My fingers were numb when I let myself into the apartment. I’d forgotten my gloves – again – and opting to walk home from my Korean language class had been fine, until it started snowing.
