I chuckled. “I can tell.”

Harrison grimaced. “For a big guy, he’s kind of a lightweight. Sorry. We’ll go to our room and put on some clothes. The hotel really is great. I’m glad Declan sent us this way.”

Noah rubbed his nipples. “I could use some help warming up.” He gave me a coy look. “When do you get off shift? You look downrighthot.”

I shot a look Harrison’s way, but his gaze was more appraising than concerned.

“I’m off in a few, but I’m actually headed over to the B&B to see how Declan is doing with that mess at the Tree Hut.”

The guys had told me all about the plumbing disaster when they’d checked in just before lunchtime.

“Oh, that’s nice of you,” Noah said. “I feel so bad about that. I tried to help, but I’m just a bull in a china shop!”

He flailed one big arm to demonstrate and knocked a display of brochures over. “See what I mean!”

I laughed as I came around the front desk to help gather them from the floor.

Harrison crouched beside me to help, but paused when Noah stage-whispered, “Harry, ask him!”

Harrison glanced sidelong at me then shook his head. “Not sure I should.”

Noah grabbed his arm and pulled him up, whispering into his ear while shooting what he probably thought were covert looks at my ass. I finished gathering the brochures and replaced them on the front desk.

Noah was wiggling again, and there was something adorably puppy-like about him despite his size. Harrison dragged a hand over his face, then cut his eyes my way.

“I don’t suppose…you’re into men?”

I raised an eyebrow. “Into men or into the two of you?”

“You could beintome,” Noah offered with a sloppy smile that I suspected was meant to be sultry. Maybe he would have pulled it off two daiquiris ago.

“Tempting, but I don’t play where I work. Besides, I need to get over to the B&B…”

Noah pouted. “You could make an exception for us.”

I chuckled. “I could, but I won’t.”

Noah huffed. “What’s the good of all these hot men if they won’t play with me?”

Uh-oh. I wondered if that meant Brooks had gotten an invitation as well. I could just imagine how that went over. Heaven help us all if they propositioned Skylar first. Brooks was possessive of his boyfriend.

“Don’t sulk, baby, you’ve still got me.”

Noah nuzzled into his side as Harrison ushered him away from the desk. “I love you best.”

“I know you do,” Harrison said, his voice fond. “Besides, I’m pretty sure Cash is more interested in Declan.”

Noah craned his head to look back toward me. Damn, how transparent was I that Harrison could figure me out in just twoconversations? No wonder my friends gave me hell about my fixation.

It was almost enough to make me second-guess my plan to swing by the B&B.

Almost.

The clock finally ticked over to 7 p.m., and I headed toward the staff entrance that led to the docks.

Sawyer was already in his personal boat, untying the lines as he readied to leave. He worked with Swallow Adventures, running boat tours for the resort, but this week he’d been lent out to help Ash Dixon—his former best friend and current enemy—with his new food boat, Master Bites.

This cameafterAsh kissed Sawyer out of the blue, so I suspected there was something cooking with these two, even though Sawyer had always dated women.
