‘As much as I’d love to hear you pleading for me to fuck you, I have another idea,’ he said.
Fie picked Eve up, moving her over him before taking her by her hips and easing her down on his length. Then he let go, allowing her to move how she liked.
She rolled her hips inexpertly, impaling herself fully on him with a low moan. She moved up again, and then down, gasping, and then she took his hands and moved them to her breasts, looking bashful as she showed him what she wanted.
His hips rocked involuntarily, and her mouth opened on a whimper. ‘Do that again,’ she begged. He grinned, repeating the motion, and making her cry out.
‘Do you like that, female?’ he asked, and she nodded.
In the background, he saw that Drax was standing in the corner, watching them.
‘I need more,’ she whimpered, and, in one swift movement, Fie turned them so that she was on her back beneath him.
He pushed into her gently, wanting this to be something different than it had been in her past. He knew that Drax still watched them. His Brother liked to do that, and Fie hoped they were giving his Brother a good enough show that he would think twice about casting their Fourth aside.
He dragged Eve down the bed. Her hands were on his shoulders, holding on to him as he pumped into her with slow, easy strokes. With his thumb, he rubbed the small bud at the apex of her thighs, enjoying how she writhed beneath him as he rode her.
He could feel how excited she was, how close she was to her peak. It was an odd sensation to feel hers as well as his looming on the horizon. He took her a little faster, the friction between their bodies making them both moan.
His body clenched as his seed erupted from him at the same time as she arched her back and cried out her own release. His fingers turned bruising as he claimed his female properly, pushing every inch of him into her, an age-old need being fulfilled, yet one he'd never wanted to satisfy before. It scared him and as soon as his pleasure had ebbed, he pulled himself from her, sitting back on the bed.
She was panting, glistening with sweat and, not wanting her to know the direction of his thoughts, he brushed the hair from her brow, and kissed her forehead gently before covering her with a blanket.
When he looked behind him, Drax was gone.

Priest
‘Try again.’
Priest’s tone was harsh as he tried to get Eve to open a portal. But the female could still not reach her magick on her own. She needed the terror only he could provide. He gritted his teeth, not wanting to have to instill it in her anymore.
She sat on the ground, back straight and eyes closed, trying to open a portal. She was failing miserably.
Shame welled up in him as he watched her try again and again, accomplishing nothing and becoming more and more panicked. If she couldn’t do it on her own, she knew what he would do and how well he could do it thanks to his deceit.
He thought back to that night with self-loathing. How could he have known that that fucking potion that was meant to relax her would work so well that she’d been too dazed to tell him no?
Securing the bond with her and learning her fears had been the plan from the moment he knew she had magick and they’d been sucked into the Dark Realms, he reminded himself. But it had not gone the way he’d thought. Listening to her answer his questions about her past, her treatment and men who had hurt her so many times had been harder than he’d expected. In truth he’d not thought it would shock him, but it had. He’d taken her memory of the interrogation he’d subjected her to away, hoping to spare her that … and selfishly so she wouldn’t think even worse of him. But, somehow, she’d remembered all of it.
The anguish he’d seen in her eyes, that he’d felt in his very being now that they were bound together properly had almost made his legs buckle.
He looked away from her for a moment, disgusted to the core with himself. He was no better than Talik … the Bull. It was right that she should hate him and feeling the agony that he was causing her … there was a justice in that.
But if she couldn’t find her magick, he was going to have to hurt her again and the thought of it made him want to retch.
Having not found their kin here in the Underhill, they'd be obliged to return to the fae court soon to relay their findings, as no one else had been able to breach the portal. But first they would go to the capital where all of this had begun.
He looked over at Drax and Fie, who were staring at the female, their horses’ reins in their hands as they waited patiently. All three of them had claimed her now … as if she were truly theirs, as if any of this was right.
His Brothers would not want to break the bond as they’d originally planned.
Priest shook his head. Their minds were clouded, and he was fighting to keep sight of what he needed to do. Eve should never have been their Fourth. If Drax and Fie were no longer present in their minds enough to see it, then Priest would have to be the one to break the bond … for all their sakes, even hers.
Luckily, he had the skill and didn't need the Dark Army Commander to perform the rites to destroy it.
‘Try it again,’ he said.
