“Remember that one time when it was so small he actually swallowed it.” Rosie steps up next to her, laughing. “God, that had to be the most humiliating moment of his life.”

“Rosie, can you tell us what happened?” Collin asks, eyes flicking to the older woman, then back to her. He looks terrified. I’ve never seen him or any of my guys fear for their lives. But the way they’re looking at the women with black hair, they are about three seconds from shitting their pants.

I want to know who she is. She’s fucking stunning.

“Well, your girl here showed up at the club saying you guys had something planned for her. But I could have sworn I saw Preston leave the club about an hour earlier. I hadn't seen him come back in, so when Sherry said she saw him go into the room not too long before Sadie got there, I was suspicious. I went intothe office and checked the cameras from the time you left to the time Sadie got in. Nothing. You didn't come in any of the doors.

“So, I went back and checked the hall camera near the doors and saw a man of the same height who resembled you. Same blond shaggy hair, black mask. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. So, I took the master key and went to check for myself. I thought it was better to apologize for walking in on you all getting your freak on than risk ignoring my instincts. Glad I did, because I found that fucker with his hand wrapped around Sadie’s neck.”

Preston is over to Bradly in a few long strides. He cocks his fist back and punches Bradly in the face, his head snapping to the side with a sickening crunch. “You dare put your fucking hands on my woman!” he roars. “I’m going to kill you.”

“Ah, ah, ah,” the older woman tsks. “Not yet. Monsters like him need to be played with first. You can’t just let him die without some pain, can you?”

“Umm... Not to be rude, but do you mind if I ask who you are?” I ask the woman because I really hate being out of the loop.

“Oh, silly me.” Rosie laughs. “I forgot to introduce everyone. Mom, this is Sadie. I told you about her. Really awesome girl. And these are her men. But you know them.” Rosie waves them off. “Sadie, this is my mom, Harlow. But everyone calls her Queenie.”

I nod my head. “Sounds like a badass name.”

“Thanks.” Queenie grins. It’s beautiful, but I have no doubt this woman is batshit crazy. “It makes me feel pretty badass sometimes.”

“She’s badass all the time. Don’t let her humble herself,” Rosie says.

“Alright, boys. We have two options. You can sit back and let me have my fun. Or you can help. Either way, I’m taking control of things now. This fucker has been on my radar for a longtime. Sadly, found out he was a part of one of the biggest sex trafficking rings a little too late. He’d already gone into hiding.” Queenie slowly walks over to Bradly, and it’s only now that I see there’s a dagger in her hand. “I’ve been waiting for you.” She laughs. “How sweet of you to deliver yourself to me on a platter.” She straddles his lap, and he lets out a choked scream behind the gag. She cocks her head to the side as she runs the blade along his jawline, the fear in his eyes giving me far more joy than it should.

“I heard you’ve been a naughty, naughty boy,” she says in mock disappointment. “You know, it’s not very nice to terrorize young girls.” She presses the blade into his skin, cutting him from ear to chin. Bradly screams in pain. “Looks like it’s only fair we terrorize you back, don’t you?”

She gets off Bradly and turns to Rosie. “I’m in need of some mother-daughter bonding. It’s been a while. You game?”

“Fuck yeah, I am.” Rosie claps her hands gleefully.

“Baby.” Grayson cups my face, taking my attention from the women. “You're not going to want to watch this.”

I don’t argue with him, because something tells me this isn’t going to be pretty.

For the next ten minutes, the room is filled with screaming and pleading. Sobbing and begging. And the laughter of the woman inflicting the pain.

Through it all, I do my best to tell Grayson and Declan everything that happened up until they got here while Collin and Preston watch their father get the punishment he deserves.

“Alright, boys,” Queenie says. “We’ve had our fun. Not much blood left in him, so he’s going to die any moment. If you want the killing shot, better do it now.”

I regret looking as soon as I do, nausea coiling in my stomach at the sight of Bradly’s mangled body. Is he missing an arm?

My eyes jerk away, not wanting to look any longer to find out.

Queenie holds out two handguns to Preston and Collin. They look at each other, taking a silent moment before taking the guns.

Without hesitation, they step forward. “You will never hurt us again,” Collin says.

“You will never hurt the people we love... again,” Preston adds.

Then they both raise their guns and shoot, hitting Bradly straight through the skull, ending his life for good.

The moment I know he’s truly dead and gone, I feel like I can breathe for the first time in years. The worry that’s been shoved into the back of my mind lifts.

Wrapping my arms around my waist, I get up from the chair I was sitting in and walk over to my guys. I take one last look at Bradly’s cold, dead eyes, knowing now we can truly live our lives and be happy, before smiling up at my men. “Let’s go home. I have something exciting to tell you.”
