My teeth sank into my bottom lip. “Did you really just say that in the most romantic city in the world?”

“I did. And I meant it. I can do what I’m passionate about while watching you do what you’re passionate about, all while being with the woman I love. It’s an easy decision for me.”

“But you’ve always been in Rosewood River,” I said, not even attempting to swipe the tears away anymore as they clouded my vision. “You love it there.”

“I love you. And I want to be where you are.”

“I want to be where you are,” I whispered. “I love you so much, Rafe Chadwick.”

“Then we’re doing this?” he asked.

“We’re doing this.”

“How about I kiss the girl first?” And he tugged my chair closer, leaned down, and kissed me.

My hands tangled in his hair as I kissed him back.

I kissed him like it was our first kiss.

I kissed him like it was our last kiss.

I kissed him like it was a forever kiss.

Because this felt like forever.

And I was all in.

epilogue

. . .

Rafe

I’ve beenin Paris for the last four weeks, and time had flown. I kept several of my clients, giving them all the option to come with me or stay with Joseph, who owned a larger company than mine.

At least for now.

Most of my clients had chosen to go with me, including Jordan Waters.

I’d already let Joseph know that I was leaving the week before I came here to see Lulu. He’d been angry and tried to manipulate me, but in the end, he wished me well, and things had ended amicably.

I thanked him for the opportunity, but it was time to break off on my own. Bridger had been right. I’d let fear almost rob me of the woman I loved and the opportunity to grow a business that I owned.

This allowed me to work from wherever I wanted, and right now, I wanted to be in Paris with my girl. My assistant, Clara, had agreed to come with me, and she was thrilled about working remotely. I’d eventually hire more people, but right now, this would work.

My family was beyond supportive, and Lulu and I had decided not to rent out my house so we would have a place to stay when we visited, and we could play it by ear once we had a better idea of how long we’d be in Paris.

“I love starting my day like this,” Lulu said as she straddled me, my fingers interlaced with hers.

The morning sun came through the sheer curtains in our room, creating a halo of light around her.

“Well, you do like riding stallions, right?” I gripped her hips as she slid down my erection.

She smiled, teeth sinking into that juicy bottom lip as she leaned down and kissed me.

We’d been making up for lost time since the day I arrived here.

She pulled back, looking down at me as we found our rhythm. Her perky tits bounced with every movement, and there wasn’t a more beautiful woman in the world.
