“I’m not interested in buying your body, Freckles,” he says, slowly walking over to me while I remain grounded to the lockers, touching the cold metal to cool off while that hot body of his closes in on me. But when he plants a hand beside my face and leans in, that self-control nearly jumps out the only existing window.
“I want you to offer it to me willingly.”
He leans in so close I can feel his breath on my skin as his hand rolls over my body without actually touching me as if the air between us is enough to hold him back. But my God, it still spreads goose bumps all over my skin.
I shouldn’t even be thinking about this. I have a boyfriend. This isn’t right.
“Will you stop Levi?” I ask.
I don’t even know why I’m considering it.
“I’m not going to kill my own cousin,” he says, tilting his head while sporting a devious grin. “But I’m willing to protect you.”
“I don’t need protecting,” I reply. “But Grey does. Will you protect him?”
“I admire your tenacity in keeping your boyfriend safe, Freckles.” He lifts his hand and curls his finger around my red hair. “But if I’m going to stop Levi’s murderous intentions with him, you’ll need to give me something in return.”
I shiver when his finger slides down my neck and clavicles, his eyes fixating on my chest like he’s been waiting to devour me whole.
Could I do this? Could I betray Grey just to keep him safe?
“Tell me exactly what you’re expecting of me,” I say.
He leans in to whisper, “Your pretty little mouth, wrapped around my cock, swallowing me down like a good girl.”
I swallow away the lump in my throat, along with the thump between my legs.
“Of course, if you don’t think you can do it, you could always just walk out of here without a lick and without the guarantee that your boyfriend will stay alive.”
His tongue dips out to lick my skin, and I shudder in place.
“But Iwillmake it worth your while.”
He presses a kiss so volatile beneath my ear that I nearly melt.
“So what’s it gonna be, Freckles?” He grabs my hand and guides it to his pants, which are tight as fuck and completely tented from the hard-on beneath. “Will you be a good girl and get down on your knees for me?” He looks at me from underneath his eyelashes, his gaze darkening for a second. “Or would you like me to make you?”
CHAPTER 23
Aspen
He throbs under my touch, and I swiftly pull back, afraid of what I might’ve unleashed.
“Grey wouldn’t like—”
“Grey would be more than happy that you’re willing to give your body to save his life.” Apollo puts his hands on my shoulders and slowly pushes me down. “And I’m more than willing to give you any fucked-up part of me you wish for as long as I get to have you.”
I shouldn’t. I really shouldn’t.
But I can’t stop either.
My knees slowly cave in on me until I’m right in front of his humongous thighs, and I feel like I’m committing treason just looking up at that deliciously muscular body of his, yet …
My fingers still can’t help but curl around his pants and slowly lower them.
There’s no way I could ever fight off Levi and keep Grey safe on my own while still being conflicted about the whole thing, but having Apollo in my corner could flip that balance … at the cost of all of my morals. And if I want to keep my integrity, I risk losing my boyfriend. It’s a choice between two evils, a choice I don’t want to have to make, but Levi forced my hand, and now I’m here on my knees in front of the man who could snap anyone’s neck with ease.
Under his devilish gaze, I lower his pants until finally his pierced shaft bobs out, and I’m still stunned at the size of that thing.
