“It does, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
“Me either. Of course, I’ll be your girlfriend.”

“I agree.” Nema came running toward Kasey, sniffing him before rubbing her face against his leg. “She likes you which is a good thing since you agreed to keep her.”
Kasey bent over to pick Nema up and cradled her in his arms. “She better like me, or you’d be shit out of luck. So, tell me. What’s this impromptu trip about?”
