“Where is Sami putting Ally’s presents?” I pointed to the table set off to the side and out of the way. “Well, she is going to be one happy little girl. You know you men are spoiling her, right? No one will ever measure up when she gets older.”

I turned toward Bailey and then followed to where she looked.

“Hell, if Tank falls, he will crush one of those kids or several.” Tank stood blindfolded under a branch that had a motorcycle piñata hanging down from it while his brother, Bull, helped Ally turn Tank in circles.

“I would be more worried when he starts to swing the stick. Why men don’t use the sense God gave them, leaves me baffled at times?”

“Hope you don’t expect me to answer that?” I said and wrapped my arms around her waist from behind and pulled her against me. Bailey stiffened at first, then I felt her slowly relax against me. She turned her head to the side and up to look at me.

“What is this, Lance? Why all of a sudden the change? One day you’re in the bakery, and the next you’re kissing me and telling me you are coming after me. Now, this.”

“I know we need to talk and that I owe you an explanation or at least some answers. But, can we enjoy the party before we dive into everything?”

“Fine, but don’t think you’re going to force me into anything.”

“Bet I could.” I spun her, then leaned my head enough to capture her lips with mine. The longer we stood there, the more I wanted to swing her up into my arms and carry her to my house. I broke the kiss and stepped back.

“You’ve got the best mouth,” she said as she opened her eyes and looked up at me. “But that isn’t going to get you your way.”

I leaned closer and lowered my voice so only she would hear me, “I’m pretty sure it can if I lay you down and throw your legs over my shoulder and use it on your pussy till you’re screaming my name and begging for my cock. Youremember, like you used to do.” When I stood up straight and looked at her, her eyes were wide, and I didn’t miss the shiver of her body as I spoke to her.

“Oh, my God, I can’t believe you said that. We are at a party and a children’s party at that.” I startedlaughing, and she glared at me. “How can you find this funny?”

“Come on, let’s go join the others. We wouldn’t want to miss any of the fun because if you thought the piñata was apotentialhazard with men. You’re going tolovepin the muffler on the bike.” I grabbed her hand and started walking us toward the tables where the others sat.

“Uh, pin the muffler?”

“Please, it was the cleanest version of the game they came up with.” Bailey laughed and was still laughing when we sat down.

Chapter Eight

Bailey

It turned out to be one of the best days I’ve had in a long time. And it was nice to watch my mom enjoying herself too.

“You did a terrific job on the cake, Bay?” Devil sat next to me with two plates with cake on them.

“Thanks, I worked on it most of the day yesterday and finished it up this morning.”

“Ally was really surprised when Sami lifted thelid, and she saw it was amotorcycle. You even had it detailed with the Black Hawk patch on the gas tank.”

“Sami gave me a picture of the one on the side of Speed’s tank. It was kinda of fun decorating the cake. When I first told Sami I would try to make it, I was worried.”

“Well, you did great, Bay. Have you enjoyed yourself today?”

“Yes, I have. This has been an awesome day. I got to watch a good friend accept the proposal from the man she loves. I made a little girl I adore, happy with a cake. Then, I got to watch the same little girlbreak downin tears when you men rolled that motorcycle around the building.”

“Yeah, but I really thought Sami was going to kill us until Speed rushed to tell her that it is electric powered for now.” Lance chuckled and took the last bite of his cake.

“No way Sami could have stayed mad once she heard how you all built that bike with parts from Speed’s dad’s bike. I don’t think any woman here didn’t have tears in their eyes. Damn, I know I did.”

“That’s why the other day, Jag and Flirt stayed here when we came to town. We had to keep Sami and Carly from coming home so they could put the finishing touches on it and get it out of the garage and moved. Stroker put it in his shed until today.”

“I thought he was going to rebuild Cutter’s bike for himself?” I sat my fork down and turned on the bench toward Lance.

“He was, but then he said he wouldn’t want to ride it and it would just sit in the garage. So, when Ally showed her interest in everything to do withbikes,we figured what the hell. I mean, we build bikes, why couldn’t we build one and scale it down to fit her size? We used what we could off Cutter’s, kept the parts from his that couldn’t be sized down and Speed put those away for later when Ally is big enough to handle a real motorcycle.”

“Well, it was the perfect gift forher, and the training wheels were too cute. I want to know who put the pink striping on it?” I giggled at the look on Lance’s face.
