“I’m going to stay. With them. If they still want me,” I said.

“Of course they want you, you dummy. You’re incredible,” Kira said.

I laughed. “Thank you. But I still have to talk to them about it.”

“Then hang up the phone and go get your men,” she said. “I’ll help you clear out your apartment whenever you want.”

“Oh god, I totally forgot I have an apartment,” I said, slapping my hand to my forehead. I’d been so wrapped up in everything that happened that somehow an entire dwelling had left my mind. “Thank you, I’ll text you.”

“Hey. I love you,” she said. “You deserve this.”

“Thanks,” I said, getting choked up. “I love you, too.”

As soon as I hung up, Ben came bounding up the stairs.

“Oh my god, you better be serious or I’m going to be so mad at you,” Ben said. He tackled me backwards onto the landing. “I’m so fucking happy right now,” he said into my hair.

“Were you eavesdropping?” I yelped playfully. “That is such an invasion of privacy!”

“Yeah, whatever,” he said, grinning down at me. “Are you staying?”

I smiled and nodded up at him, sliding my arms around his neck.

“I knew it!” he crowed and let me sit up.

Lachlan, Soren, and Lucas were gathered at the bottom of the stairs. I grabbed Ben’s hand and pulled him down the steps with me.

“I tried to stop him,” Lachlan said. He opened his arms, and I threw myself into his embrace. He pulled back and slid his hands on each side of my face. “Are you sure? Absolutely sure?” His eyes were as intense as always.

“Yes, I’m sure,” I whispered.

“Then we are never, ever letting you go.” He pulled me forward into a possessive, all-encompassing kiss that left me breathless.

“Quit hogging her,” Ben snapped, wrapping his arms aroundmy waist from behind and knocking me off the step.

“Can we take the love fest off the stairs before Maggie breaks another rib?” Lucas said. Then he picked me up like I weighed nothing and carried me into the living room.

“Have I told you that I like it when you pick me up?” I asked, grinning. “It makes me feel so dainty.”

“Sugar, I will carry you around the house all day, every day if that’s what you want,” he said and set me down gently.

Soren had followed us and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. “Gonna spoil the shit out of you, baby girl,” he said.

“Even if I’m a brat?”

He wrapped his palms around my hips and pulled me in close. “Of course. I love you, even when you’re a brat,” he whispered in my ear.

“I love you, too.” I sent a wave of love down our bond.

Telling Soren I loved him was easy. I knew how he felt. And even though I had fallen for my three Alphas, too, saying the words out loud was too much for one day. Especially when we were all so exhausted from my heat. I’d have plenty of time to work up the courage.

That night, I just let myself be surrounded by them, their scents, and the feeling that I’d finally found home.

Chapter 40

Ben

Maggie, Soren, and Lucas were off to get her stuff from the Omega Center and some clothes from her apartment. I was bummed I couldn’t join, partly because that meant Lachlan and I would be terrifyingly alone after my morning client appointments.
